“Comfy beds, nice ambient lighting, need to bring your own dish towels and sponge. Bit of a bug issue, understandable given the location.”

“We had a great stay at the Tipsy Turtle! The place is lovely and well appointed, with lots of thoughtful amenities provided. Note that the main beach access is through a beach-front bedroom, which was odd but not a problem for us. The beach and location were great for us!”

“You can’t beat the location and it’s walking proximity to the beach and restaurants! Felt right at home with the fully stocked kitchen providing everything you need to cook. It was the perfect space for a long weekend with my pup. I would stay here again when visiting Surf City.”

“The house is beautiful and in a good location. I did appreciate having an elevator and the pool. The cleaning people were not good at all. My almost 2yr old grandson found a fishhook on the deck, which I left in the small sink. Dog hair under the furniture, a snack wrapper,bottle cap in the bedroom. A fruit snack.Smelled like smoke in the one bedroom. Stains on blankets. Killed several bugs. Did not appreciate when Connor came right upstairs toward the second floor yelling are you still cleaning? I know mistakes happen but you know you have 2 sides. 2 out of state cars were on our side, the door was locked and there was a stroller in the entrance very visible from outside. So I didn’t quite understand why he was confused. He kept looking at his phone while standing on the stairs talking to me. My 2 grandsons were taking naps on the second floor. There was no real “welcome” a couple of dog bones, earplugs. No written instructions for anything anywhere other than the elevator.”

“we had a great stay here! the unit was the perfect size for my husband and i and our 2 dogs. very walkable area for restaurants/ice cream/etc. and close to public beach access. staying on the second floor was nice because there is a gate on the porch so we could sit out and enjoy the weather with our dogs. we did not have any noise issues with hearing other tenants like some reviews have mentioned, but the unit below us did have a very vocal dog-that won’t stray us away from staying here in the future!”

“We had a fantastic stay! Perfect for extended family, including both grandmothers and right on the water. The pool was a fun way to end a beach day! But the best feature is the deck off the kitchen. The view is great!”
