“We did not have kids staying but I would note that it’s not kid friendly . Little bit overpriced . We did request the a/c be turned down some but it was locked and never responded . Otherwise pretty good stay .”

“I was traveling alone and the place was perfect for me. The driveway was a bit difficult and my GPS had a difficult finding the place especially after dark. Once I was settled and knew the way, I left the outdoor lights on until I returned. The pool was cold and I didn't see any instructions so I didn't use it.”

“The home was filthy .Garbage was left in bins we had to wheel them to street . The bathrooms were moldy and unsafe ,sink in master bath was cracked.Closet door was coming off . Back door and yard were dirty and moldy . I took pictures and reported it to the host . The ac unit in one of the bedrooms was not vented out the window.The house needs to be cared for . It doesn’t meet the air bnb standards we are used to. Host was responsive but the house is to far in disrepair”

“I thought the place itself was fantastic. The location was superb. Easy walking distance to Santa Cruz Cliff Beach and a quick walk to Newport Ave with all the restaurants, bars, and action in OB. Very family-friendly overall and a great spot to stay. There is some plane noise since it seems to be right in the flight path from the San Diego airport, but honestly it was not a big deal for us. My only issue was with the early check-in / late checkout policies. Our flight arrived early afternoon, and I asked about checking in a couple hours early since the unit had already been cleaned and nobody had stayed there the night before. They initially wanted to charge $50. Same thing with a slightly later checkout where they wanted to charge $25. I understand policies are policies, but it felt a little less customer-friendly than I would have hoped. To their credit, they ultimately waived the fees. Overall though, we had a really solid stay and I would stay here again.”
