“The gnome apartment was one of my favorite airbnbs to stay at. The apartment felt like staying at someone’s well prepped home for the weekend. It was clean, had nice soaps, some snacks, and a booklet of information for the apartment and area. The check in instructions included pictures that made it very clear how to find keys and doors. It felt like an apartment I would want to rent. I would like to stay at one of David’s places again when I visit.”

“Excellent place to stay! Very clean and everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure. So many little extras which I felt was super thoughtful, including sound machines in the bedroom which were very much appreciated. Shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and lotion in the bathroom were a great touch. The kitchen was well equipped with all the extras to make cooking in easy and enjoyable. The parking space was ideal so we didn’t have to worry about all the rules of on street parking. It’s was nice to have an outside porch/sitting space on the beautiful blue sky and sunshine fall days. I feel like great attention has been put forth to assist in details of all the little extras for travelers. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago or in one of their other places. We have great confidence in David and the team that all of their locations are all amazing! Thank you for a great stay!!”

“Our stay at the airbnb was superb, David and Trove team were incredibly hospitable and quick to respond to questions, the airbnb itself was super cozy, private, and comfortable! Will 10000% stay here again or any of David's other unique-niche listings. 🥰 Thanks for a great week in Chicago! ✨️”

“Good location and walking distance to alot of amenities. Clean apartment and easy check in/out.”

“Our stay with David was great! We loved the apartment. Also the company managing the rental was very responsive and flexible with our check-in, which was really helpful. We loved the neighborhood, it was super cute! Everything was very clean when we got there. It is an older building and the floors creak a bit. It was a great day and we were able to use the kitchen to make some meals. Would recommend!”

“This place was perfect for my finance and me! Easy to find, easy to get into, very clean, soda provided was a great touch, short uber to all my friends in lakeview. Thank you david great place!”

“Thunderstorms boomed, rain fell. It was dark. We located the lockbox, retrieved the keys, entered the building. We opened the unit’s door, the lights were on, the a/c was running. We were home. Safe, interesting, walkable, quiet (even during Cubs games), very clean (even with dog walkers) neighborhood. Lots of trees, brick townhomes. Bus and L-trains nearby. Gnome unit is on second floor, clean and comfortable, lots of little touches like drapes that block light, cooking oil and salt already available. You’re not in another hotel, but a real home. Host created a pamphlet regarding the unit, immediate neighborhood, surrounding neighborhoods and about Chicago. I used it to explore and dine.”

“Cozy and whimsical stay! Easy walk to Wrigley and the L with lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Aaron also did a great job of providing clear directions of how to check-in and gain access to the building. Definitely will be back in the future!”

“Wonderful, cozy, beautifully decorated flat in great location, with the most comfy bed! Will definitely be back, thanks so much!!! Can’t recommend the area and apartment enough!”

“Great location and the hosts were so friendly and responsive! Instructions were clear and the place was spacious and looked just like the photos. Definitely recommend!”
