“This apartment was clean and well maintained. The host is thorough and gives you all the info you need to know what to expect in this apartment in an older building. Checkout was delightfully easy - just leave the keys! I would certainly stay here again.”airbnb

“Great place, really great location. There was not enough towels and the lack of a fan in the bathroom caused some humidity, But for the price it was incredibly worth it. The team were excellent communicators and very professional. Thank you!”airbnb

“Our second time staying at one of David's properties and it never disappoints. The place was very accurately described as depicted in the listing. The communication is amazing, the location was fantastic, and he really has a flair for interior design. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!”airbnb

“This spot was tastefully decorated and well appointed. David and his team were helpful and responsive. Check in and out were easy. Street parking was hard to find, but we took advantage of a nearby Spot Hero. The apartment is garden level, which can feel a bit dodgy in a city, but the location is tucked away off a residential street. It felt quite safe and homey. Ravenswood and Andersonville are fun neighborhoods with lots to explore. It was very clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great weekend!”airbnb

“Only stay here in the summer because the radiators never stopped putting out heat all night. It felt like we were sleeping on the surface of the sun. The radiators are on the ceiling so we couldn’t even turn them off. I didn’t feel comfortable opening the windows as this is a garden unit. When I contacted Brian the first time he said to open the windows and that there was nothing to be done to fix them. After the third sleepless night, we reluctantly opened the window but it never cooled off. It was easily 85 degrees in the bedroom. We lived in Chicago for 13 years and had radiators; this apartment’s heat is not normal.”airbnb

“Things that weren't listed, its on 3rd floor, not huge but an inconvenience and would have been nice to know. The heat was unbearable at times even with the windows open (as recmmended on the in house book of instructions). This is something they must have an issue with because there is a placard on the kitchen table that jokes about it and in the instructions. Not funny when you cant sleep. Shower was either cold or scalding hot which we assumed it was because of the boiler in the basement that they reference. They provided only 2 towels/washcloths for 5 night. We requested additional towels and we're informed we would have them between 9-11 am, when they didn't arrive i message again - I was informed they would be there while we were at the game. There were two nights we stayed somewhere else. On the positive side, the location was great. It was clean. The instruction were easy to understand. Check out was the easiest we have had. Few modifications would be great place”airbnb
