Trident's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Wonderful villa! Had a fantastic vacation staying here. Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. It was so enjoyable to watch the fireworks from the balcony or walk downstairs to one of the many restaurants. We would definitely place this at the top of our list to book again next trip to Hilton Head.”airbnb

“The condo had a magnificent view. Had everything you would need and then some. While we did not use the beach chairs and umbrellas due to the heat, it’s an unexpected treat.”airbnb

“Spacious area, but unit 576 lacked some updating. Needs new carpet in bedrooms they were stained so bad . Lighting in 2 of bathrooms were very dim. AC unit for upstairs had a hard time cooling it stayed warm during our stay. Overall, the place is very spacious . It just needs some major updating . Will I stay again yes, but not this unit .”airbnb

“townhouse was clean and spacious. Great location near the beach and across the street from the pool. Too bad there were no beach towels or a beach umbrella. We did not bring one from home, and we ended up going to buy one. The beach chairs are rusted and not reclining. It would have been nice to find condements in the kitchen. But there were none. I left a salt and pepper shakers for future guests. Overall, very pleasant and clean.”airbnb

“Sea Pines is an excellent place to stay! We really enjoyed coming here as there is so many outdoor activities and beautifully kept grounds. I would highly recommend this part of Hilton Head. We had a great time at the Airbnb too. An older home but in a great location. Needs some minor cosmetic fix ups but overall a solid place to stay. The only issues we had with the home were the wifi networks and TV connections cut out a lot with poor signal, one of the beach chairs was broken and the A/C was not very strong in the bedrooms. Other than that I felt this was a well kept home in a nice neighborhood. We will definitely be back to Sea Pines!”airbnb

“Overall our stay was great. The location was awesome with two kids and we loved being able to see the fireworks and listen to the nightly music during the summer holiday. It was also very clean. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the bed in the primary bedroom was awful. It was so soft and you sunk into the middle. I slept in it one night and my back hurts so bad I ended up sleeping the rest of the trip in the guest room with my kids which wasn’t restful but at least my back wasn’t killing me. Also, I wasn’t prepared that there would not be enough dishwashing tablets, trash bags or laundry detergent for a six day stay. Luckily I had brought extra body wash and shampoo since my youngest has sensitive skin or that would have been an issue too. You’re given a “starter” kit and then I guess you provide the rest on your own during the stay. Luckily they dropped some extra off but if you’re staying longer then two days you need to be prepared to provide your own.”airbnb

“Our stay had several unexpected issues that significantly impacted our experience. The biggest concern was the fiddler crab situation, which was not disclosed in the listing and should have been. Every time the door opened, crabs rushed inside, and we found both live and dead crabs throughout the house, including the bedrooms. We spent a good portion of our stay catching and removing them, which made our family, especially my wife, very uncomfortable. There were also issues with basic supplies: only one roll of paper towels for a 3-day stay, no hand soap or cleaning supplies, limited washcloths, no broom, and the Keurig didn’t work initially. To their credit, the owners were responsive and check-in/out was easy. The back patio views of the marina and sunsets were beautiful. Unfortunately, the crab issue outweighed the positives, and had it been disclosed, it would have greatly influenced our decision to book.”airbnb

“Great location in Shelter Cove. We appreciated that the condo was dog friendly. My kids loved the heated pool. The condo itself had a little bit of age on it as some of the walls had some concerning cracks in the drywall. It seemed the condo was clean, however, there was evidence of the last tenant and some of the Easter detritus they had left like an empty plastic egg, a slap bracelet, and a doll. This showed me that the cleaner did not pay attention to details. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are some details that would make it a five star location.”airbnb
