Treeline Saltline Vacations

Treeline Saltline Vacations's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the property. The location was convenient, and the overall experience was comfortable and enjoyable. One area that could be improved is the cleanliness inside the house. We noticed a live cockroach on the sofa and a few spider webs inside as well as around the exterior of the property. While we understand that outdoor insects can be hard to completely avoid, especially depending on the season and location, paying a bit more attention to indoor cleaning and maintenance would greatly improve the experience for future guests. Other than that, we appreciated our stay and enjoyed the property.

Beautiful & spacious cabins. Very well stocked kitchens in terms of pots, pans, utensils, dining ware, and lots of countertop appliances. Lovely playground and game equipment. Plenty of seating for everyone all over the cabins and extremely comfortable too.

The property was spacious, but nearly everything inside was outdated and poorly maintained. Our group of 14 received minimal supplies—only two trash bags—and we had to request basics. The TV remote didn’t work, the TV itself was very outdated, and the dishwasher didn’t function properly. The hot tub was dirty, and although the sign said chlorine was provided, none was available. We requested it multiple times and waited almost six hours. The TV issue was never resolved. The home has potential, but the outdated amenities, lack of supplies, and slow responsiveness made the stay disappointing.

We booked because of the stargazing dome that was on the property. It was weeks before check in that we found out the dome was no longer there. We were never contacted of this change. It was our deciding factor & now too late to make changes. All pins & addresses would not work to find the house. Took one of our guests over an hour to finally find it by eventually using the written directions. I followed their location to find the house. I sent out my location for everyone else. Kinda hard to do because the internet did not work when we arrived. Everyone made it & all was good. House is beautiful! So spacious, comfortable beds, 2 frigs, 2 dishwashers, 2 washer/dryer sets. I had meals planned for months for 15+ people for the week. First night we find out there is no blackstone that was listed & shown in pics. Called & found out it rusted weeks ago & was removed. Also found out the fireplaces were closed for the season. All of that was never communicated pryer to check in.

Cabin was clean. Would have been nice to have enough drinkware for all guests. Make sure to bring items such as salt, pepper, firewood, and cooking oil as the two pans that were provided are not non-stick. I incurred extra fees the day before checkout for a change in the number of people staying due to the correct number not saving during the original booking. This fee could have been avoided had they responded to my change request a few minutes after booking it 2 months prior. There was no communication regarding that until they sent the information for checkout and I was assessed a charge based on the current rate right before a holiday weekend.

The cabin was very nice but lacked natural light . A bit challenging to get to when the wifi was off, which was about 36 hours.

We wanted to love this cabin but there were many issues. The beds and pillows are not the best quality. The grill and half of the hot tub jets were broken. The kitchen was poorly equipped with broken or cheap equipment. We lost half of a bottle of tequila when we poured it into a blender because it all spilled as it was broken. They say they provide coffee but we got 5 coffee pods with 4 being decaf. For a cabin for 10 it doesn’t make sense. We let the host know of these issues and they did nothing to resolve them. For example they said they would send maintenance to fix the grill but no one ever came out. We told them about the coffee and instead of bringing more they just gave us a canned response. When we told them about the blender they did offer to bring a new one but we ended up finding one that worked. Two of the three blenders did not work. We just stopped letting the host know of any issues because their responses were useless and they did not do anything to solve it.

Overall, this is an OK place to stay. When we arrived at 6 PM, the door code that they supplied us with did not work. We stood outside for quite a while and called the number we were given online. They answered and gave us a completely different code and that one worked. Said that they would reprogram our door to the correct code and never did the entire five day stay. The TVs in the living room and bedroom area are not smart TVs. They only had local channels, not even a package for movies. Typically this would not be a bad thing because it’s an outdoorsy location, but it rained our whole trip and we weren’t able to watch Netflix Hulu or prime while we were stuck inside and the channels they did have didn’t always work. We put a DVD in the player and it is broken and would not work. The hot tub was nice, but the filter bucket would not stay in place and floated around the hot tub. Also, There were lightbulbs out in one of the bathrooms. Beautiful place ,just needs updated!!

We stayed here for a special weekend celebrating a milestone birthday with friends, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we arrived, one of the upstairs bedrooms had a significant bee issue (nearly 30 bees in the room), making it unusable. We contacted the host right away, but the response and assistance were minimal. We ultimately had to work directly with Airbnb to address the situation and arrange compensation ourselves. Because of this, some of our group had to make alternate arrangements and were unable to stay, which disrupted our plans—especially frustrating given that babysitters had been arranged and this was meant to be a special trip. The property itself may work under normal circumstances, but based on our experience with both the issue and the lack of support from the host, I would not book this place again.

We really enjoyed the beautiful area and the house itself is quite nice, but our experience was hindered by maintenance and cleanliness issues we discovered daily. These included a broken back door lock, a broken porch TV, and a non-functional shower handle. We also found the home wasn't thoroughly cleaned, with dust and hair in the drawers. While the host offered to send maintenance for the door, we preferred not to have our private vacation time disrupted by repairs that should have been addressed before check-in. This property is lovely, but it needs a more reliable cleaning service and better maintenance to be truly guest-ready.
