Manager Review

TravelHere

TravelHere's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Overall, we had a very good stay. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. The house was also very nice and comfortable. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and enjoyed our stay.”

“For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The only downfall was the odor of marijuana coming into our unit. It was very strong to the point I had to reach out multiple times. Only option was to open windows and ventilate the place. Unit matches the description. We would stay there again”

“No real complaints. House was decent and neighborhood was quiet with tons of places to go. Bring extra towels and wear socks or house slippers at all times. Hosts were responsive. Decent stay overall!”

“I would never recommend anyone to stay at any of TravelSGV’s properties. The power went out twice in our unit and it took over an hour for anyone to assist us, despite it being over 100 degrees outside. We were provided instructions in the house manual to “reset” the power if it were to go out, however, this solution did not work. It seemed to be triggered by having the lights on and using the microwave/electric kettle. The phone number provided by the co-host routes to a call center who stated that they didn’t have “staff on site during the weekend” and couldn’t provide us an ETA for the repair. Jacqueline on the property finally came to our unit to assist us after an hour. She stated that she is not the one messaging directly on Airbnb and that everything is handled by the third party. We never received a response or assistance from TravelSGV regarding the power outage. After we checked out, we were accused of staining towels, which felt retaliatory. Their shower was also moldy!”

“I have seen that Tammy has many good reviews and some bad reviews, yet I don’t think that this specific Airbnb in Azusa was all too terrible. It seems as though maintenance and a walk through wasn’t completed before new guests arrived, such as: There was a thick layer of dust on the floor, the fridge could have been cleaned out, coffee maker still had coffee from previous guest, and the towels were just tossed onto the bathroom sink all messy not folded. Some reviews talked about the AC being mediocre, and I do agree with it was off and felt like a sauna upon arrival. It often got hot inside as well, but they do provide multiple fans to make up for it. They ask for <70° F. The automated system that I spoke to apologized and said there would be clean linens delivered the next morning, which they were.. But all of this could have been avoided and could’ve provided a better experience for my family if there was a little bit more house keeping / maintenance. Listed as vip..Totally not..”

“hosts were incredibly nice and extremely communicative! the airbnb is pretty tiny, so perfect for solo traveler or couple at most. just a heads up for tourists, it took us a good hour to get to most things with distance + traffic so keep that in mind. the price is worth it. if you provide a first aid kit, please fill it!”

“Solid value for the price, but there were some issues. The Wi-Fi was very spotty and didn’t work at all my first day. At the time I booked, the photos were also misleading, showing a full gas oven when the unit actually had a two-burner convection cooktop, which was disappointing since I had planned on cooking during my stay. There was also a plumbing issue with the toilet overflowing. Tammy was very responsive and attentive to each issue. However, after I handled the overflow myself, I specifically requested that no one enter the unit while I was gone. That request was ignored and someone entered the space without me there. This violation of trust made me uncomfortable enough to cancel the rest of my stay. To Tammy’s credit, she completely understood and gave me a full refund for the remaining days. Had the Wi-Fi worked reliably and my request for privacy been respected, the place would have been perfectly fine. For the money and a place to crash, it’s not bad.”
