“The place was in a great location with a great view. Staff was super helpful and friendly at the front desk. It was so nice to have chairs, umbrellas, and towels available to check out for the day. The unit itself could have been cleaned a little better, specifically the floors and around the corners. But overall it was a great place to stay with everything you could need.”

“Great location and unit. A few minor things - very squeaky dryer and a leaky window - otherwise would have been a 5. Easy 1/2 block to beach and just 2-3 blocks to bars, restaurants at John’s pass. Comfy beds.”

“In 13 years of using Airbnb, I have NEVER left a bad review. Unfortunately, this was our worst short term rental experience. The floors were filthy; my son’s new socks were BLACK after walking inside. The bathroom felt so dirty my wife showered in flip flops, and I removed a disgusting amount of hair from the clogged shower drain (so disgusting). Also, the mattress was badly sunken on one side. Worst of all, the property is directly above a bar called Cool Vibes, which we had no way of knowing before booking. Friday AND Saturday night, the bass was so intense the bed vibrated. Sleeping was impossible. The host indicated this had been a problem before, yet there was no warning in the listing and we were told to CALL THE POLICE if it happened again (what!?). After two sleepless nights, we were so exhausted we skipped our planned beach day and drove home early. We requested a refund for only those two nights and never received a response. I would absolutely not stay here again.”

“We originally had a different BnB but due to complications Airbnb sent us this one to purchase. Compared to our original BnB it didn’t have all the amenities you would want at a beach, but it was more secure. Pro: Secure & safe Mostly clean Quiet & calm beach Walkable to Indian shores shops & restaurants Friendly staff Accommodating Responsive Cons: Did not have any beach amenities. Did not provide beach towels (had to pay extra to the condo for them) Had ants. Though someone did come when we contacted our host about it, we didn’t see as many after that. more expensive than original BnB we booked. We did have to book it at 2am that night which would make the price more expensive. We were supposed to go back to our OG BnB but this BnB wouldn’t let us cancel the reservation to go back even though we only had it for a few hours. This is from Airbnb, not from us actually talking to the host. So I’m not sure if the host knew that or not. If they did, that seems wrong.”

“The office lady called us and told us our room was ready and we could check in early. I actually told her a time frame. We arrived in that time frame and there wasn’t anyone in the office. We had already parked and unpacked our vehicle. We ended up calling the management company to see what was going on. They called the office lady and she came back all upset because her coworkers were calling her during her “break” asking her where she was. She came back a bit rowdy and complained while she was eating her cold fries. Very unprofessional! First impression was not a good one! I brought my mom and aunt with us who are physically unable to do stairs. The elevator broke down (which can happen and I get it) I just wish something would have been put up so we knew it had already been called about and in the process of sending someone out to fix it. Great location. Comfortable beds and couch. Love that it had chairs and umbrella for beach. Hall bath needs some TLC (peeling paint) and up grade”

“This location is great. The only issue I had was the rude maintenance man and the loud club below. The club went on till 3 o’clock in the morning Friday Saturday Sunday. Was a little outdated and a little dusty. But overall I enjoyed our stay we’ll be back.”

“Nice location. Clean but was annoyed that basic items such as trash can liners, paper towels, toilet paper and dish detergent were not sufficient for our stay.”

“Very disappointed in the unit. Had to purchase skillet to cook our meals because the one in kitchen was burned so badly it was unsafe. No soap or cleaning products to clean kitchen. No water pressure in bathrooms. Dirty carpet and no pictures or decoration to bring in feel of the beach. Will not go back”

“We paid for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. Unfortunately, because of repair needs, we were only able to use one of the bedrooms completely. We had to make beds on the living room floor and sleep people on the couch. The repairs of nonAC and ceiling issues in one bedroom should be repaired before someone stays there again. The leg on the bed frame in another room needs to be repaired before someone stays there again. There were crumbs and popcorn in the couch and recliner. The bed sheets and towels were thin and rough.”
