Manager Review

Tower 17 Properties & Management

Tower 17 Properties & Management's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The property is fantastic in a great beach experience location. My family rented this before we sent my daughter off to college and it was perfect. There were tons of board games for comfy nights in and great local restaurants. The rooftop is fantastic.

Appreciate patio furniture and grill new and not rusty. Good kitchen amenities though downstairs could use a set of knives. Floors dirty downstairs when arriving. Many things like windows, blinds, doors, shower heads, dishwasher, wifi need fixing or work inconsistently. Beds aren’t all queens as advertised. Only fits compact cars - this not communicated up front and we were ticketed. Lock box codes didn’t work and they didn’t know the answer when we called. Took over a day to respond to messages. Great location!

The House itself is nice although the street can be quite loud at night. The main beach is not accessible due to coastal protection work in process, which is really sad if you booked a beach house. WiFi is really bad, especially in the master bedroom.

The property and location were fantastic! We enjoyed the location and the house specifically. We had a few issues on our trip which the property management did nothing to help with after communicating with them. First, the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night (while we were sleeping, to awake the entire house) and nothing was wrong. It also would go off anytime you cooked anything on the stove, which was super frustrating to try and make meals. -- I told the company with no offer to fix it. We were also offered an hour later checkout and the cleaners showed up an hour early, sat outside a clear glass door and asked us to leave multiple times. It made for a very chaotic exit packing up with two men and three women standing at your backdoor asking you to leave even after I showed them the Airbnb communication. Great location, great property but the management was frustrating to not offer any sort of solve to either experience.

beautiful ocean views feet away through the backdoor. fun and unique shops/restaurants feet away through the front door. only downfalls during trip: -was not aware a homeless shelter is next door to the home. had a lady smoking a cigarette on the back steps two times. -an unexpected and uncommunicative visit of the landscape workers showed up and surprised us one morning coming back home from grabbing coffee. they were already inside the fenced locked area.

Absolutely do NOT book this place. It is completely misleading. This is not a house — it’s a tiny cottage, much smaller than shown, on a shared lot with zero privacy. The area is unsafe. We stayed with a baby and felt constantly at risk. Homeless people were right outside — one set up a sofa next to the house and screamed all night, another walked around threatening people. Many weird people in the neighborhood. Sketchy. Inside many problems: tiny shower, no bathtub, no AC, no dishwasher, weak fans. Everything super small. It’s hot during the day and cold at night. We paid over $5,000 — this place is worth maybe $100/night. Management is unresponsive, and all communication/check-in is split across different platforms, making everything confusing and frustrating. Hard to find the entrance. Overpriced, unsafe, and deceptive. Do not book.
