“There was a noticeable smell when we checked in. After airing out the space and sitting on the porch for about 30 minutes, we contacted property manager. He showed up and acted like he did not smell the sewage, offered us an alternative unit that would not fit all of us, and refused to refund us to find another place stay. We ended up calling Airbnb to get a refund and rebook elsewhere.”

“Carport is not lit up at all, and it’s very dark in the back residence. If you arrive after dark, it is difficult to see the lock to get the key out.”

“Toshi’s place was clean and quiet. Unfortunately there were some minor things like the smoke alarm beeping from low batteries and old scratchy sheets. It was fine for the price and location, it just didn’t feel well maintained.”

“We had a late check in because of our work schedule. We didn't arrive until roughly 1am. Within 30 minutes my team located a LIVE BED BUG. Of course we immediately smashed the bug and vacated the property. Because of the odd hour, we were unable to speak with the host until 8am. When confronted the host was unhelpful and refused a refund to us. After several days they offered a partial refund but wanted to keep $800 of my dollars, even though we didn't even stay at the place. I was left with no other choice but to dispute this charge with the credit card company because the host is a crook. He wanted me to cancel for the partial refund so he could free up the calendar to rebook the house, vs taking care of the issue. DO NOT STAY HERE.”

“This place was cool. I had some minor issues with the check-in process but overall it was alright.”

“The house was quiet, comfortable beds, and conveniently located for our stay. The only con was that there were electrical issues during our stay that were not fixed until our stay was almost over due to the holiday but Toshi was responsive to getting it fixed.”

“Outside was rougher than I expected, yard was not very well maintained, parking is limited if you have multiple vehicles. However the inside was spacious, updated appliances, showers were great and living bedrooms were spacious. Great deal for the price though.”

“I mostly enjoyed my stay here as it was easy to find, felt like a pretty safe neighborhood and the unit itself was cute, clean and supplied everything that I needed. My only complaint is that they contacted me multiple times to remind me of the rules. I know people can be pretty crappy, and I understand the rules must be in place and reinforced as to protect the property. When I booked, I was emailed a contract that I needed to sign separately from Airbnb which initially I had no problem with. I received the email and it was just a list of rules concerning quiet times, not putting things down the disposal or toilet… Smoking rules, etc. I signed it no problem. Then, I was texted a list of rules. OK! Then I received another message through Airbnb, again a reminder of the rules. Then the phone call… Rules! Then I arrived… Rules posted on the door. Rules posted in the bathroom. Rules posted above the sink. I kinda felt like a child that was in trouble.”
