“It was a great location. Essentially driving you were approximately 30 seconds from the beach and close walk if you wanted to walk. Great restaurants in the area and walkable distance. The bathroom there wasn’t a towel rack so that was unfortunate. Coming into the airbnb the floors seemed a bit dirty as I was wearing white socks. We had to go to Walmart to get house slippers. Thin walls but wasn’t an issue. Great privacy with the curtains.”

“More run down than the pictures make it look. Also very strong smells when walking in, and the bed sheets smelled really strong.”

“The location is excellent, right in the heart of Ocean Shores and within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. Communication leading up to our stay was initially very good, although one message sent a day before arrival went unanswered. When we arrived, 30 minutes after check in time, we were unable to access the unit because the door code provided did not work. Despite calling and messaging, it took an hour to receive a response. Once reached, Michael resolved the issue immediately and was very apologetic. The building is older and showing some signs of wear. The floors did not seem thoroughly cleaned and the windows were very dirty. The kitchen overall was well stocked, despite some mismatched dishes and the cabinetry having chipped paint. The beds were comfortable (other than the pull-out couch but what pull-out is!) with nice linens. The location is the property's strongest feature.”

“Place was not cleaned well, and there were food crumbs on the bed when I opened the sofa bed. There was pet hair and pet odour. Floors had some sticky spots. The owner, while responsive to my messages did not ensure the tasks were complete by their maintenance crew. He did refund some of my money but even with that I felt I overpaid for what I got.”

“The chalet was easy to find and as described. The beach is close for easy car access.”

“The location near the beach is fine for a nice walk. The unit's location is a bit odd, as the units are near the road and feel like they were plopped onto a car park. The description of the place was a bit hyperbolic, but close enough. Not quite what we expected based on that, as it was less of a "chalet" and more of a small beach cottage. Still, for a quick stopover, just fine. Clean and fairly comfortable. If you are sharing the bedroom, whoever is in the bedroom with the door will need to pass by the other bed to get downstairs, so be comfortable with a small lack of privacy for the one bed.”

“I rcvd msg thu air b&b, which said to have all comm go thru the app.There was also verbiage that said there was a blow up bed available upon request.I asked 2 qtns thru the air b&b app, neither of them were answered until I got a message 2-3 days later that listed a phone # that said to text. So text my questions. My 2nd question was about the blow up bed that was referenced and was told there were no blow up beds avail So we brought our own.When we arrived for check in at 3 there was a vehicle parked in our spot. It very clearly states, your parking spot is next to your front door.If there are more than 1 car use the parking stip.There were 2 ladies who came out to the car.We told them we were renting that place and that was our spot.She said she was in another rental&were told they could park where ever they wanted.i said no it clearly states where to park.she didnt move so we had to dbl park her.she finally came out about 30min later. Beware of the nasty native stickers in the grass”

“Overall a nice place stay and within walking distance from the beach. They had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves with our 2 dogs. Only a couple of issues; some of the dishes were still dirty and there was hair from other people in the bathroom and kitchen. Also we had an issue with the kitchen sink plumbing, it would not drain properly and ended up coming through the wall into the bathroom. I notified the owners but nothing was done while we were there. We could not use the kitchen sink and had to wash all of our dishes in the bathroom. Overall it was a nice place to stay though.”
