“Very clean, centrally located accommodation! Walking distance to shops & restaurants making it very easy to explore the area. The apartment is situated directly above a very busy brunch restaurant, so please keep that in mind if you are hoping to sleep in. If that doesn’t bother you, then it’s a great stay!”

“This was a great location and very walkable to anything in Saugatauk. It was on a busier street so lots of people walking by etc. so didn't feel like we could have the window/blinds open. We had 2 people and our 2 little dogs, I would be hesitant to say this would work for 4 people. It would be pretty tight but a great spot for a short wknd stay.”

“We wanted to love this place but for us it was just okay. If we could give it 3.5 stars we would, but since others loved it we rounded up. I think the difference between this place and the others we’ve stayed at is that is was managed by a property management company. ZERO personal touches or care. The furniture was cheap and old and the bed and frame were small, uncomfortable and as crickedy as a bed can get. For $700 a night we expected FAR more than what we got. Only 6 pods of flavored coffee, no cream or sugar, cheap gross pans, filthy windows, no rugs for wet feet in and out of hot tub and sandy yard…I could go on but won’t. The “private” beach with 10-12 cars and 20-30 people was pretty, but even tough we are in great shape we didn’t want to hike all the way down the dunes to enjoy it fully. If you are looking for a musty cottage near lake Mi and don’t expect anything fancy for the cost, this may be your stay. We would not come back.”

“This is a beautiful, nicely-decorated space with comfortable furnishings, in a premium location for waterfront view and walking to Saugatuck’s main drag. Would definitely stay again, but one warning: The walls are thin - our high-spirited neighbors did not observe the 10pm quiet time, but chilled out around midnight. Excellent positioning above a great taco shop.”

“The cabin was as described but the proximity to the lake should have mentioned a very difficult hike needed. Up and over a 250 ft + dune to the lake would have been good information to be shared. Overall, the cabin was very cute and clean but would feel that there should be more amenities to reflect the price.”

“Watch your step! Driveway concrete is uneven and the side door steps are not standard height. Front and patio doors painted shut.”

“Location was a major factor for us when booking, and this certainly was a great location. Overall, the property was adequate, but was definitely lackluster in certain areas. The listing was a bit misleading as it was listed (and priced) as the “entire home”, however during the first night we heard footsteps above us & learned that this home is two rentals in one. This should be disclosed & more clearly communicated. Cleaning could definitely be improved, with visible dog hair from prior guests and a shower that could use a better scrub & new, clean shower head. Blankets & comforters for the pull-out sofa were full of holes, rips, and tears. We spent the majority of our time at the house on the screened in porch, which was a great amenity but is also in need of some maintenance on the screens and cleaning. Knowing this is owned by a larger rental company as opposed to a private owner, I expected a higher level of quality and cleanliness for the price we paid.”

“While this space was clean and the location was beautiful, it's also above a taco restaurant, behind a dock, and next to a construction site. The one day we were able to sit outside due to weather, we eventually had to go inside because a docked boat was idling for a while and the gas fumes were intolerable. The biggest reason we gave only 3 stars is because it's very clearly run by a management company and not a personal family. There are zero amenities, the TV is tiny and far away from the couch, the toilet paper and tissues are office quality, and the shampoo/conditioner are tiny hotel sizes. There are just easy small touches that could be done to take it up several notches. We also never got the codes to open the lock on the door, but we got several emails about the opportunity to pre-purchase groceries from some kind of platform I'm sure they get money from. It felt like a space meant to make money, not for folks to really escape and enjoy themselves.”
