Manager Review

Third Coast Elevated Stays

Third Coast Elevated Stays's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The owners/management were great. Responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Amenities mostly as expected. Mattresses were comfy! Building was a short drive or 10 min walk to beach. The building and the apartment were very run down. Apartment was not advertised as being on 3rd floor without an elevator. Everything (inside and out) needed basic maintenance, paint, a good scrub. The apartment was clean, but not well maintained. Leaving dirt and streaks of substances behind. It was sufficient for our needs, but it was not new or extremely clean like the photos would lead you to believe. While we were grateful we could bring our pet with us, it was clear the apartment had not been thoroughly cleaned after the last dog. There was dog hair in the shower drains and in the ice cube tray in the freezer. A hairdryer would have been nice. And cleaning supplies of some kind also would have been helpful. We spilled a drink and had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean it up.”

“El alojamiento limpio, cerca de la playa para ir a pié, sólo faltan más sillas exteriores, una mesa grande cuando haces parrillada.”

“The location is excellent and overall we had a positive experience. Not the most responsive or considerate property management/cleaning team.”

“We had a nice stay overall and enjoyed the property and location. The home is comfortable and the listing photos are generally representative. The pool was nice and well taken care of, located right outside the front door, and right around the corner is private beach access (with an outdoor shower to rinse off sand). It’s honestly the best location in the building. It was also very nice having a private gate and parking, with extra street parking right across the street. There were a few things we noticed during our stay that future guests may want to be aware of. We had quite a few ants in the kitchen one morning, and the living room TV occasionally requires being turned off and back on before the sound works. The listing also states that a washer and dryer and beach towels are provided, but neither was available during our stay. Neither issue ruined our vacation, but those are amenities we were expecting to have based on the listing. Overall, the location and home were very nice.”

“Love that we were right by the beach. The only reason for a low review would be the humidity of the place. AC was set at 72, but although it cooled it felt so humid. The sheets felt humid. The beds were awful 😣 no good rest the 2nights we stayed. Over all not as clean as I expected. Counters were sticky, floors were not swept, tvs did not work.”

“Not entirely sure what I was expecting but i’m not crazy about this spot. The wifi didn’t work our first day here and even after restarting it like we were told we still didn’t have wifi our whole trip. The tvs are extremely slow and the lock situation was confusing. Getting in is easy but leaving and locking the room up always took a minute for the door to register to lock. You can hear every time the neighbors slam their door or are at the pool and the dryer doesn’t fully dry your clothes after washing, even a small load. Good space to sleep I guess but that’s about it!”

“After our reservations being canceled right at 2 weeks before our vacation and a new management company taking over and having to pay more, We still loved the house and pool. A few upkeep things need to be addressed/cleaned up. But its a perfect location to everything. Having 2 special needs kids the "kiddy shallow" part of the pool was wonderful! Perfect house, nothing fancy for a little family get away!”

“Overall this was a great spot for the price! I will say the experience of the stay is better than we thought when we pulled up. “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” The location and proximity to the beach and restaurants was also extremely convenient. I think just small details would have made this accommodation better. Examples: more than one roll of toilet paper for a family of 4 on a 4 day stay. We searched every closet and cabinet. Thankfully our friends staying in one of the other rooms saved us! The porch area could use some TLC/cleaning. Last there was zero flex in a slightly later checkout. My original booking was a 3pm check in and 11am checkout. When I was notified about new management and had to rebook my stay it changed to 4pm check in and 10am checkout. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay, the place itself was comfortable and clean for my family and the location made it still worth a 5 star. I think these small tweaks are very fixable issues and hopefully the feedback helps!”
