4.75Visit website
The Vacation Company's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Things were clean and a nice spacious area that easily accommodated our six adults and three children. Rooms were large and spacious but were too warm at night. Limited to no closets or hooks in the bedrooms. Super good location with coffee shops, restaurants and stores very easily walkable.”airbnb

“We are extremely critical travelers when it comes to our accommodations - especially the cleanliness factor. This stay measured up - top notch! And Knoxville is one of the most vibrant and welcoming walkable cities we have visited. So we will be back - and we will stay here again! Thank you.”airbnb

“This is our 4th year staying at the Oaks. I love the little cabin and the surrounding area. It’s so peaceful. However, the cabin could use a deep cleaning. Dusty ceiling fans, beams and lamp shades. The windows need a good cleaning inside and out and the French door was so dirty that I had to buy window cleaner and clean it myself. The porches were very dirty and had not been swept in a while. The outside garbage cans were completely overflowing with garbage from the previous renter plus the garbage was never picked up the entire 5 days we were there. There were bottles left at the campsite area. The chairs at the camp area need a good scrubbing. I love the cabin but was disappointed in how poorly it is taken care of.”airbnb

“The space was very open and large. It accommodated our party quite well and had enough parking. Convenient to a few stores and restaurants. Plenty of toilet paper. There were a few things that were disappointing: 1) the commercial fridge did not work. Although another regular fridge was in the kitchen, I really needed the space of the commercial fridge. The rental company contacted me the day of checkin telling me it didn’t work but did nothing to fix it. I saw other ppl’s reviews saying it was broken but it’s still broken. 2) we saw roaches several times in the kitchen and in one of the bathrooms 3) entrance into the main living was not convenient; nor outdoor trash cans. 4) the bathrooms counters were very low. 5) there was only 1 kitchen towel 6) the bath towels were cheap and shabby 7) mattresses were foam and hot 8) recliner couch was broken For the price and fanciness of the house, I expected higher quality. No attempt at restitution for issues.”airbnb

“The unit itself is decent, clean, and generally well maintained. However, the main issue is that the property is falsely advertised (and priced) as a 3BR when it is actually a 2BR. The area being sold as a 3rd BR is simply bunk beds squeezed into the corner of a stairway landing, and the top bunk is almost impossible to access. While there is space to accommodate more people, this is not a true 3-BR unit, and anyone specifically looking for a 3BR should not book this property. Property records confirm this is legally a 2BR. When I requested a reasonable refund or the option to rebook elsewhere, the host accused me of “extortion" and threatened to counter this review with a negative review of their own. I fully expect that will happen. Regardless, I believe future guests deserve accurate information. Decent unit, but inaccurately advertised and priced; if you are specifically looking for a 3BR dont book this unit.”airbnb

“The AC was not working for our stay. We reported it, and the host offered a refund for the second night if we checked out, but that wasn’t feasible since we were in town for a wedding. No one came to fix it and no workable solution was provided. The stay was uncomfortable and did not meet expectations unfortunately. The house itself was in a solid location.”airbnb

“The location and size was great for what we needed for my family, but we couldn't really use the downstairs as it was so cold and so dirty. I questioned the thermostat, there wasn't one. Looks like a dirty mop was used, and the stairs had a coating of dust. The sheets in our bedroom had a gross stain on them and when I sent a picture to them asking for another set of sheets, since there were no extras, they blamed me for the stain. Not good customer service, in my opinion.”airbnb

“I’ve been on Air B&B for years and took many trips! But this by far was a nightmare there was ladybugs everywhere I’m not talking one or two I’m talking 100s. they were in the beds crawling on me while I was sleeping , tried cleaning them up ,but then there were more coming in some how so they obviously don’t do treatments for bugs. But wait there is more I had no water pressure at all had to wait 30minutes to even flush the toilet and had to use a cup to shower then let’s talk about the smell it smelled like wet dog the whole time and the fridge was unusable because it smelled like rotted food . I would not recommend this place at all to anyone .”airbnb
