The Redwoods In Yosemite

The Redwoods In Yosemite's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

My partner and I stayed at the redwoods in August of this year and we had a wonderful time. I can't recommend this Airbnb enough as it has everything you can possibly want that is in the most amazing location for. Just up the road it's a wonderful swimming hole and River where you can sit sunbathe and relax

The cabin was in the perfect location. We enjoyed our stay. It was clear in the reservation it was a hundred year old cabin. So I expected an older setting. The kitchen was great with an updated stove and oven, Kurig coffee maker, bring your own pods they are not furnished, microwave and nice refrigerator. The deck is amazing! The Wi-Fi worked great and it is peaceful there. Overall the location is why I picked this cabin and it delivered that.

Honestly, I expected more considering the price we had to pay for week day stay. A bit over $600.00 a night for week day was too much. If you appreciate view, the “N CABIN” has the best.

Pros: The location is convenient. It's about 1 hour drive to Yosemite Valley Visitor Center Cons: The house doesn't have AC, so it gets really hot inside the room during hot weather.

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay. The property was overpriced for what it offered. It was not very clean—we found dust throughout the house, spider webs in multiple areas, and the windows appeared to have single-pane glass, which provided poor insulation. Construction next door created dust and noise that made it difficult to sleep and relax. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with many basic cooking utensils and essentials missing, making it inconvenient to prepare meals. Given the price, we expected a much cleaner, better-maintained, and better-equipped property. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again or recommend it unless these issues are addressed.

It was an overall positive experience. Great location inside the park, it took about 50 minutes to get to the Yosemite Valley floor area. Our only complaint was that the WiFi didn’t work for our entire stay and when we reached out about it, they didn’t respond until about 30 minutes before checkout. We appreciated the cleans linens and stocked kitchen however the property could use some updating.

Yosemite is the most beautiful place but at $1500 AUD a night this cabin is the most expensive and most dated place I've ever stayed for accommodation. EVER. When you consider nothing (not even the exhausted quilt covers or decades old carpets and blinds have been touched in more than 50 years (and I love a vintage feel) it's easy to have no sense of value). I'll never get my head around the price, other than it's inside of the national park. Internet was hotspotted from another cabin and so even more terrible than it should've been, and really for no legitimate reason (when cell service was full bars). If it was a quarter of the price, it wouldn't be an issue. Lovely local market with the friendliest staff...and again we loved Yosemite but couldn't understand the price for the amenity.

The house is very big and easily accommodates a large group, including kids. It's cool to be already inside of Yosemite so you can just get started with your hiking early, but the Valley is still about an hour drive away. Checking in is a little tricky because you have to go to another location to pick up the key. Also, download the map of the area before driving there because we had no cell phone reception and some of our party got lost. Overall, the house was clean. Host was slow to respond.

We had a great time at the 3A house! It’s a cute spot surrounded by nature, within walking distance to a grocery store and an EV charger. The deck area, however, felt neglected. The furniture was piled up and covered in what seemed like months of dust. We couldn’t use it the first day because it was so dirty that we had to hose everything down ourselves. Since the deck was advertised as part of the house, it should have been maintained to the same standard as the indoor areas. Other than that, we had a beautiful stay.
