The Newport Lofts

“I would highly recommend. We were traveling with a very large group spread out over several different hotels and air bnb's and this was by FAR the nicest. I would love to live in this unit! It was large light bright and so spacious. There was so much natural light! The view of the Church was beautiful. The location was perfect. There was a third room/bathroom that easily could have been an extra bedroom (i think it had a pullout) but it was almost like having a 3rd bedroom and the extra bathroom was nice with 2 couples.”

“The place was in a great location & looked just like the photos. NIce to have 2 king sized bedrooms. I appreciated that the apartment was nice and cool when we arrived given how hot it was that day. The only negative I have was that the ice makes wasn't working. There were 2 ice trays in the freezer but they were empty. I tried to make ice but the ice never set during the weekend.”

“We knew there were 3 floors, but the listing said great for families and we assumed it would be a kid friendly place. I could see a family with older children not young ones. So while we stayed we bought a baby gate and left it there for use for any future guests who run into that issue. The location is great, close walking distance to almost everything you need, also easy to drive around as well. Only other part, it would have been nice if decks were cleaned and free of cobwebs that were everywhere and to have the patio furniture cushions that are pictured. Still comfortable outside and lovely to sit and have coffee and breakfast and enjoy the nice breeze and sunshine. Overall great location and nice home, would love to come back in the future and enjoy Newport again.”

“We are coming to NEWPORT and you’ve done your research. You know that Thames Street is a great location. This location is within walking distance of all the action downtown, but in a neighborhood that can also provide or peaceful and lower key activities like walking in the park or by the water. We got to NEWPORT quite a bit and discovered a new French café across the street. That was amazing. There’s parking on site which is very important. Wha I enjoyed the most were the decks and ability to use outside spaces. Our weather was perfect and we spent quite a bit of time on the large outdoor patio with friends and family, as well as quite a cup of coffee on the third level patio off the master bedroom. That third floor bedroom is a nice sanctuary from any action downstairs. The upside down house configuration was perfect. Look forward to staying there again. Oh yeah, in the air conditioner is amazing. Might be the coldest AC I’ve ever encountered, which was awesome for sleeping.”

“The place was clean and in a great location—right across from everything you might need. Parking was right across from the building and very convenient. The only hiccup was that I booked same‑day after 5 PM, which made it a bit tricky to reach the property management company for the Check-In door codes. It took a couple of hours, but once Airbnb support connected with them, they responded quickly. I’d definitely stay here again—just with a reservation made in advance lol. We only booked so late because the hotel didn’t have any pet‑friendly rooms available.”

“Loved staying here with our adult daughters for a 3-night trip. Excellent location right on Thames, which made walking to restaurants and shopping super easy. Got to watch an incredible fireworks display over the harbor from our front door on the last night. The loft was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only downsides was the noise from the unit above us. Maybe adding area rugs or asking guests on second floor to be mindful of wearing shoes that make noise would be helpful? Otherwise, everything was great. We had an issue with the hot water upon arrival. It was fixed within an hour of letting management know about it.”
