The Gold Nests Vacation Rentals

“The property is old, has cockroaches, and the air conditioning does not work properly. There is a strong musty smell, no extra bedding for the sofa bed, and the towels smelled dirty, as if they hadn’t been washed. The place was very unpleasant.”

“They were very good at sending me messages regarding my stay. The issue was parking turned out to be $50 not $28 as stated in the communication to me and the noise at night with loud music and yelling kept me up till the middle of the night.”

“For the most part wasnt top bad. Bugs where gross. Hard to get parking when there a bunch of people doing drugs in those parking spaces. Not a safe area at all.”

“Over all house is pretty nice, doesn’t provide any seasonings but provides an assortment of Tupperware. There is no longer 2 twin beds in one of the rooms and the house kind of smells like someone was smoking in here prior to my arrival but overall the house was clean and a quiet neighborhood right next to the hard rock hotel which is nice.”

“Great location.. 2 mins walk to the beach; we appreciated the same day reservation availability; unfortunatelly, we had a situation regardng cleaniness and feeling safe in this place; therefore, we cannot recommend it.”

“Please be aware that parking is not free. It is stated under the amenities section, so be sure to read through the listing throughly. They offered a link to discounted parking but it did not work. After reaching out and waiting over an hour for a new link I was sent the same one. Parking was over $50 for overnight and over $100 for 24hours. There is a parking garage near by if you don’t mind walking. We had planned to extend for at least two more weeks since it was available for extension but decided not to due to the parking situation. Other than that the unit was fairly clean (there was pet hair all over the sofa bed) and the hosts were friendly.”

“The stay was okay… we asked for fresh towels and never got a response. The morning we were supposed to check out the bathroom flooded and never got a response either.”

“Had bad ants everywhere one of the tvs don’t work and all the doors look like they about to fall out can’t set nothing down or lay down there was ants everywhere and it looks dirty from the walls to beds to couch to bathroom just not worth it at all”

“The building is in disrepair, with precarious stairs, window ACs, grimy grounds, vagrants in the vicinity and a lockbox that didn't work upon agreed arrival time. Once inside, we found that one of the tiny unit's bed was stripped to a stained mattress and no sheets were available. The host was slow to respond after the reservation was made and highly unprofessional. Safety issues reported to the platform, including the broken door frame which precluded the door from closing. The lock box stopped working shortly after arrival and we were locked out outside the unit with our small child alone inside.”

“Great location but dirty inside, very old, the cheapest soap possible, and could use a deep clean as there was a insect smushed on the ground with dirty baseboards, and dirty fridge. Not worth the price, and doesn't honor late checkouts.”
