The Dogwood Cabins

“This place is great. It's your typical old creaky cabin. Everything was good with this place, dishes and kitchen area were clean, sheets and towels were clean, and everything worked. My only gripes are the actual cleanliness of the cabin Itself. There are old cobwebs around the cabin that clearly have been there for a while, I expect spider webs in a cabin but this was a bit excessive. Also had a bit of an ant issue. Not too bad, but still kind of annoying. High chair was dirty and had a screw falling out. The furniture definitely had animals all over it cuz it has that smell but that's not really a big deal knowing it's a pet friendly place. Place does not look like it does in the add, those pictures are clearly very old so tone down the expectations Overall the cabin was a fun good experience and did the job for me and my family. Just needs a good day of cleaning and some quick fixes. Hosts were very accommodating and communicative.”

“After an unfortunate experience with the cabin that we first reserved, I started searching for another place to stay. We had planned a two week family gathering and time was of the essence since the first half of our grandchildren and their parents were arriving the next day. We had numerous bags of groceries that needed to be refrigerated. We reached out to Charlotte and Jon and they responded immediately offering to move us to the new location that night. The new home was perfect. It was spotless, had a well equipped kitchen, enough room to spread out and a beautiful deck with new and comfortable furniture. The pool table in the game room was a big hit with the grandchildren. The bathrooms were brand new. The hosts responded immediately answering any questions that we had. The entire stay could not have been better. We hated to leave and will most certainly be returning.”

It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind with my family. We had a clogged sink on the first day but the host immediately sent someone to take care of it. We love how comfortable the cabin felt throughout our stay it felt like home. The highlight was definitely the game room! It was so much fun and kept everyone entertained for hours. It was the perfect space for family bonding and made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape!”
