“This was the second time my husband and I stayed on The Cove Riverwalk Villa’s. The first time there were fewer houseboats. This time, there were more houseboats, but a “whole staff” that catered to every need “if” you wanted them too. We’ve stayed at many nice resorts, and both of us agreed that the service and staff was so unbelievably friendly and there to help (always with a smile). Hopefully we will continue to comeback with our “beautiful furry friend” in tow every year!!!! Congrats The Cove…..JOB WELL DONE!!! Todd & Carol ….Beasley too😉”

“I've been looking at the houseboat villas for a while. We live just a couple hours away & go to the beach there in the summer. It was a cooler week so spent most of our time in the villa on the porch/decks and downtown. Spent 4 nights. Villa was so peaceful with awesome sunsets! Unbelievable privacy for 2 couples. Each floor had a BR, its own living room & a full bathroom. Large kitchen. Staff was amazing. They carted us to/from parking deck. A couple times they gave us lifts downtown. We did on-line grocery delivery. I can't wait to go back! The only con I would say is there is not enough storage for clothes nor hangers. I'm sure we could have asked for hangers but wasn't a big deal for us. Couple recommendations.#1 for Coffee & Almond Croissants (best ever!) is the Hidden Grounds Caffe. A jurassic park themed private setting. #2 Marina Grill - shrimp tacos and Fried Platters !!! Easy walk. #3 Quanto Basta Italian Eatery. 5 Stars!!! Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff!”

“Hard to beat a house on the ocean with a hot tub. Unfortunately, the people before me misused the hot tub leaving it sandy and too low on water to stay heated up so I was unable to use it until the next day. I know these things are expected of other guests, but maybe during the cleanup between guests it could have been checked to see if it's not functioning and they can let the owners know to get it fixed before the next guests. Just a suggestion. They were quick to respond and send their technician which is why I am leaving a good review still. Thank you”

“Spent Mother’s Day weekend here. Everything about it from the host to check in, staff everything was absolutely beautiful. Very friendly staff and welcoming. The villa was top tier. Extremely clean and comfortable. I told my husband this is the only Mother’s Day gift I want from now on. Will be back. 😀”

“I cannot say enough great things about the cove - and particularly the Malibu rental. The staff was extremely friendly and responsive. They really took the time to make sure we were settled in and helped get to our rental effortlessly! Will definitely return!”

“This was absolutely fun, beautiful and different! The Cove is very well organized, very responsive, very clean and peaceful. The property was even prettier in person. Loved that it’s gated. Walkable to restaurants and shops. There is a golf cart that will take you from your car to the property so you don’t have to carry stuff. Excellent choice for a weekend getaway!!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cove. It is a bit of a walk, but that was just fine with me. They had golf carts and carts and very nice young people to help with your luggage. The boat was absolutely beautiful and you felt right at home there. The golf cart service was awesome to take you to downtown where there is lots and lots to do. We hope to come back in the not too distant future. Very nice and comfortable stay.”

“Absolutely love the place. Loved it so much last year that we had no hesitation coming back this year. Place was spotless and the "Crew" (as they called themselves) were very friendly, helpful, and responsive, Great people! Also very happy to see that golf cart service from the garage to the dock has been added. Extraordinarily helpful in moving luggage and the drivers were excellent! We did have one problem, though it was caused by an individual on the private houseboat next to us ignoring the no smoking requirement and pre-empting our use of the 2nd level deck. We reported it once we located the source. The staff were very concerned and very responsive. I was left with no doubt that the Staff will be addressing the no smoking policy with the owner.”
