“We spent the Memorial Day weekend in Chicago. The Condo was very clean. Location was perfect. Just a short walk to all of the major attractions and access to public transportation is close by. The El train is right next to the building and might bother some people. It did not bother us and we never used the provided ear plugs. The front desk was courteous and very helpful. They accepted our InstaCart delivery before we checked in, held our luggage between check out and departure flights and even called Uber / Taxi's for us. There is someone at the front desk 24/7 and the neighborhood is very safe. We loved our unit and will stay here again on our next trip.”airbnb

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. Location can’t be beat, building amenities are incredible, and you get a million dollar view of the incredible museum campus and Navy Pier. Definitely recommend!”airbnb

“Overall it’s a great spacious apartment. If you want to be by Riverwalk it’s a great location as well. However, no investment in blackout blinds (and instead cheap ones in bedrooms) - disappointing for the price. It’s definitely not dark for sleeping. Host does provide cheap eye masks - irritated my eye I woke up with a red itchy eye and needed to get eye drops and ice for it. Bought my own better eye mask for other nights. I seriously recommend upgrading the bedroom blinds - disappointing for the money.”airbnb

“They did provide me with a second key left on the counter when I arrived and made me pay $200 for the replacement. They were not helpful at all and it seems to be a scam where they have logs saying the key was left there by staff, but I was only ever given one by the concierge. What’s worse is there was ZERO compassion for the situation and all I got was a copy and paste message of their policy. I suggest finding somewhere else to stay unless you want to be scammed out of replacing keys that don’t exist.”airbnb

“My group was racially profiled by this host. I’m a 54 year old professional woman who hired a private chef for one of the group we traveled with. We also decorated with balloons and took them down before leaving. Because one was left behind along with the alcohol we purchased instead of buying alcohol at a bar; we were charged a $2500 fee. We advised the building concierge that we had a private chef coming and the let the chef in to prepare the meal. We were later told that the chef was not an approved guest which was so confusing. Basically if you stay here you are not allowed visitors of any kind. We also requested a late check out the day before check out. The first response was ‘ what time would you like to check out?’ I said 1pm and thought it was set. The next morning 30 minutes before check out I was told it could not be accommodated. Airbnb support is involved in my discriminatory claims against this host.”airbnb

“The corporate and insensitive mgmt approach to taking care of guests is unacceptable. Pray that you have no issues. Broken window that kept the unit freezing for the first 6 hours of our stay was not addressed. Bldg security and maint. staff we found on our own confirmed work order never came in that day. Asked for extra blankets and was told in writing - “do not have additional blankets” and “if you had flagged the window immediately, it probably would have already been seen to.” So it was my fault that it took us a bit to figure out why the HVAC, cranked up to high, wasn’t warming up the place? At least Air BnB refunded the crazy $150 early check-in fee to compensate me so I didn’t have to pay to freeze and chase down help myself. That’s an unnecessary fee when the unit is unoccupied the night prior. I love to splurge, but this was definitely not worth the price, and we will never again stay anywhere managed by Cloud9. 90+ properties in Chicago. They can do better.”airbnb
