“Although the view from the balcony was breathtaking, upon arrival there was a lot of “hidden fees” and just overall unexpected charges. The unit I resided in had no a/c after the first night, there was spackled ( poorly patched up ) holes in the bathroom walls, in room phone line was down. If you can sleep in an 80 degree room for multiple nights then this is the place for you!!”

“I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay. Valet parking is $30 a day. Gabriel took our keys, took our $30, and never said a word about the "day" ending at noon instead of running 24 hours. When we came back for the car in the evening he demanded another $30 and pointed at a small sign tucked in the corner of the stand — one he could have mentioned in two seconds, and one that appears nowhere on the website. He was rude and dismissive the whole time. We also found several large cockroaches in our unit. There is no housekeeping or room service — nobody cleaned our room once during the entire stay. Most of the staff were unfriendly. Also, if you extend your stay a day, your key stops working the moment you step out until the resort fee is paid. I walked out for a food delivery and got locked out with no warning. The view was the only saving grace here. Everything else was not worth what we paid.”

“The hotel itself was decent, and the concierge staff was helpful. Unfortunately, the valet service was terrible. Valet is a separate $30/night fee, and we were randomly told it would increase to $60/night because of our vehicle. There’s no other free parking on-site, and the valet staff wasn’t helpful with alternatives or concerns about the vehicle. Everything else about the stay was fine, but the valet experience really took away from it. Be prepared for a deposit/card hold as well.”

“Beacwalk room was not as described, the furniture was filthy with stains and the chairs were dirty and worn. The walls had stains on them and the host/ resort contact Hansel was not helpful or accommodating. I asked for a different room and even offered to pay more but he did approve it. He told me that he would send staff to the room to address my concerns but they never showed up. There was no way I was going to have my granddaughter on that filthy furniture. The valet didn't know how to operate the equipment and doubled charged me for parking. I was soo discusted with the whole encounter i checked out 1 hr after I arrived. I am still fighting to get any type of refund for parking, resort fees and for not staying at the resort.”

“The Beachwalk Resort itself was nice, and the view from our unit was absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed the amenities—the pool and beach were both great. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the unit we received. The pictures shown in the booking did not accurately represent the room we stayed in. In fact, the interior and even the outdoor furniture looked completely different from what was advertised in the listing. The rooms were okay and somewhat clean, but there were several cleanliness issues. The living room couch was extremely dirty to the point that we did not feel comfortable sitting on it. There were stains on the ceilings, and the laundry room was very dirty as well. We contacted the management company about our concerns and were told that someone would come by to inspect the unit, but unfortunately, no one ever showed up or followed through. “This was the worst “resort” I have ever stayed in. Front desk was extremely rude and unfriendly. We got kicked out of our room at 1 am from the person on the unit connected to ours trying to get in. When we went to front desk the only thing they could say was we have to move to another room( which was not any better and was actually worse). The bed had bed bugs, and the doors lock was broken, ac didn’t work. Also after we paid too much money for that awful room, when we got to the hotel, we had to pay a $97 fee just to stay in the room. Please save yourself and do not buy from this hotel.”

“Extremely disappointing stay, especially for the price paid. The first night was terrible because the AC was not functioning properly, causing us to repeatedly wake up throughout the night trying to adjust it ourselves. Multiple messages were sent overnight with little response, and we ultimately had to go downstairs at 6 AM because we were unable to sleep comfortably. We were told maintenance would arrive around 8 AM, yet after waiting and receiving no updates, we had to return downstairs after 9 AM only to be told there had been communication issues. Maintenance finally arrived around 9:30 AM and confirmed the AC sensor was filled with water. He also advised the issue was only temporarily stabilized and would require proper repair by an AC professional. We also experienced plumbing issues with the toilet clogging. “Though this was a great location, it just wasn’t what I expected. It took so long to get checked in. I had to take a cold shower when I got there. I told the front desk about it the same night along with texting the host, and I still nothing until I reached back out the next morning.. I was just unsatisfied! “🛑 don’t book this place 🛑 They will charge you for a resort fee $40 per day and Valle parking $30 per day and refundable $250 security deposit On top of that, the vinyl floor is not safe The tille in the bathroom are broken The Room is super small And the fan in the bathroom need to be replaced On top of that the pressure in the shower are very low”

“I had a horrible experience and have never left a negative Airbnb review before, but this stay was extremely upsetting. There were multiple hidden fees after booking, I was told about daily resort and parking charges that were never disclosed in the listing. Since the reservation was non-refundable, I felt stuck. The building was also inconvenient, with only two elevators for over 30 floors, leading to very long wait times. Worst of all, the unit was dirty. The sheets had large stains, there were hairs on the towels and throughout the bathroom, and the shower door had visible grime like it hasn’t been clean for a while. The walls were also dirty, and the WiFi didn’t work at all during the duration of my stay. While the view was nice, it wasn’t worth staying in such poor conditions. I would not recommend this place.”
