Sweetwater Cabins

“Nice peaceful cabin, the TVs are a little small but that wasn’t a big deal to us. Good amount of cooking utensils, coffee included (bring creamer if you want it). Overall we had a nice time and stayed an extra day.”

“Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, cozy, and very peaceful. Everything worked perfectly and the host was very attentive and helpful the whole time. It’s definitely a place where you can truly relax and disconnect. One small tip for future guests: make sure to ask for the door code before arriving, since there’s almost no phone signal in the area and you won’t be able to connect to the Wi-Fi until you get inside the cabin. Other than that, everything was perfect. We had a great experience and would definitely come back.”

“This cabin was everything we expected. For a group of 5 couples it was perfectly appointed with king beds and bathrooms for each couple. The place was beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor space was Wonderful with ample seating and outdoor tv. The fire pit area had space for all of our guests as well. The hot tub was perfect for after floating the river and the babbling brook was a bonus to sit and listen to while out on the porch. Highly recommend!”

“We’ve stayed at this cabin many times and always enjoy it! One note worth mentioning is it’s fairly remote so mobile service is either not accessible or one bar depending on your provider. The internet is not secured and really not sufficient for work conferencing if you need to join a meeting during your stay. Having said that it’s nice to be unplugged and would highly recommend this cabin!”

“Cabin was just perfect for an extra long weekend. Enjoyed the covered patio and views of deer in the evenings. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a few wonderful meals. Very impressed with the thought out items. The bed is comfortable, just bring your own pillow! The cabin is next to a family cabin with a pool so it was a bit loud during the days but otherwise very peaceful. I will absolutely recommend this cabin and Sweetwater. Thank you for making our stay memorable!”

“Our stay at Sweetwater cabins was amazing! The cabin is very clean, and all amenities worked as expected. The host was communicative and available. Also, it’s a great place to come with dogs. It was our first time traveling with our 2 dogs, and they absolutely loved it. We would definitely come back.”

“Great stay. Directions were really helpful. Loved the little cabin! Only thing was that we had a little critter incident in the house and hosts didn’t seem to care so we took care of it ourselves. Totally understand having issues with animals and bugs with the house being in the middle of the woods but I was disappointed in the lack of response from the host. Also some of the provisions that they said would be included in our stay were not. Otherwise, I would probably stay here again!”

“The cabin was amazing, very secluded easy to find and close enough to attractions/town that it wasn’t a hassle going places. Cabin was very peaceful and cozy and kept up well, only a few things stood out to me such as when we got there there was popcorn out in the decor bowl on the table (not the bag, but individual pieces) which led to sugar ants, the cabin is listed as pet friendly and requires a pet deposit which is understandable and they disclose it however, after you pay they tell you that if they find fur on the couch or bed you’ll be charged. I understand if the pets damage something but what do you pay the pet fee for? Also they don’t let you adjust the AC below 70 or above 75 or you’ll be charged which typically isn’t an issue but if you sleep hot you cannot adjust to cool you down. Another issue that isn’t a big deal, it is the shower is kinda small, if your over 6 foot you’ll be squatting to shower and get in the water, but it’s a cabin so understandable. Overall very nice!”

“This location was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our family time and loved how roomy it was. I could not give this stay a full 5 stars because there were a couple of things that did not meet our expectations of a rental at this price point. The first was the very small amount of shower amenites provided, like body wash and shampoo. We found it odd that a small, possibly 1-2 ounce travel bottle was provided for large traveling party on a two night stay. There was not enough trash bags either for such a large group to properly dispose trash in. And the only other thing was the missing firewood that was pictured in one of the pictures. Which apparently is only used for staging. Those are my only complaints.”
