“We had a great stay! The location is perfect & just what we were looking for!”

“Great location, our family had a good time at beach. However, there are some things inside the house that could use some improvements : 1 soap in all bathrooms should be provided 2. I understand that pets are allowed but a more thorough cleaning should be done 3. We had a maintenance person stop by in the middle of us having breakfast completely unannounced with no warning to “change the filter”.”

“The Bid-a-Wee beach house was perfect for our family vacation. It's close to restaurants and activities and the private beach access was so nice. The pool is wonderful, and we brought our dogs so the fenced in yard was great for them. We would love to stay here again!”

“We had a great time. The house is located in a great area that is very quiet and easy to get to. Our only complaint is the ac locked out at 68 degrees. The thermostat was downstairs, and with Florida heat it was definitely not 68 upstairs. We loved having the ability to go to 3 separate pools and walking distance to public beach access.”

“Location is perfect, the house itself is beautiful. Upon arrival, we noticed the floors were dirty. There was shredded cheese and other crumbs on the main level rug. The beds were also full of sand when we arrived (we always check beds as soon as we arrive) Our big attraction to this rental was that they only rented to families. This made us feel that the price was worth the location and being surrounded by other families and not young kids partying. We did not realize that this rule was only applied to the one townhouse. The other four connected are owned by other companies. We had young neighbors partying, smoking (not cigarettes) and fighting. The fire trucks showed up twice throughout our stay (once after 10pm) because the neighbors “smoke” was setting the alarms off. We are aware that this could happen anywhere. But had we known this beforehand we would have went with a different rental that was just one house vs connected townhouses”

“Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this property based on our experience. When we arrived, the unit had not been thoroughly cleaned. We found stains, hair, and grime on the kitchen counters and had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the surfaces ourselves. We also cleaned additional dirt and grime from the stairwell and banister. The host apologized and acknowledged the cleaning concerns l. We also found hair in the upstairs master bedding, so we removed the comforter and slept under our own blanket for the remainder of our stay. There were additional maintenance issues, including a toilet that did not flush properly, a dryer that required multiple cycles, and damaged blinds. Our biggest concern was discovering what appeared to be black mold around several air vents on our final day, which explained the persistent musty odor. We immediately notified the host. While the host was courteous and responsive, the cleanliness and condition of the property fell well below expectations.”

“If you are looking for a place that does not require strict rules with pets and don’t mind a little dog hair/ smell it’s a good place to stay.”
