Sunset Lodging in Sunriver

“This house was nice and had a beautiful setting, fit my family well. Highly recommend. After years and years going to SUNRIVER it’s disappointing how exclusionary it’s become. Not allowed to golf anywhere around Sunriver and the pools access shut down unless you want to pay 32 per person. If you don’t go through Sunriver directly you become an outsider. I remember when the courses were North and South and if you stayed there you could find a tee time, and each house had pool passes. The bike trails are still awesome; and of course the doughnut place in the Village is a must!”

“This house accommodates a couple families well. Having 8 SHARC passes is awesome. The house needs some maintenance. The deck is very splintery, and the outside furniture is very worn where you cannot sit in it without getting poked. The kitchen sink loses water pressure within minutes, and it is very difficult to do dishes that way. The master bathroom shower needs a good clean and one sink would hardly drain. The downstairs toilet wouldn't flush, no plunger on site and it took over 24 hours for one to be brought to us, we had to go purchase our own. The downstairs is very cool, but the upstairs is hot despite trying to switch the thermostat. The pictures show that there are multiple bikes and kayaks. The 2 nice bikes are labeled as owner use only, the same for the kayaks. But they are not labeled this way in the photos. Also, the bikes that are there need some maintenance, we had to pump the tires multiple times & the one chain kept coming off. good overall, just needs some attention.”

“We had a lovely time in Sunriver. The hot-tub was the perfect temperature and well maintained. Honestly an overall great stay, since we were outdoors during the daytime and mostly just enjoyed the hot tub at night. The listing gave us fair warning about the train tracks, but we were still startled by the train around 2am and again at 4am the first night. We had all the windows open since there’s no AC, so of course the train was quite loud. It’s otherwise in a super quiet cul de sac and the surroundings are beautiful.”

“The location is good, but that is where it ends. The outdoor furniture was filthy and we needed to clean, the internet only worked intermittently, the bbq didn’t work (and this was previously reported buy the last tenant and not repaired), could not access any television stations. The property management company was not responsive to the issues and chose to blame us for their lack of ownership. There are many other options available in Sunriver. This was not the unit to stay in. I feel for the owner of this unit, it should have been in much better condition. This was not worth the money spent.”

“Good bang for your buck, it was surprisingly spacious considering its small square footage. Clean. Very nice pool. Only downsides: the couch was pretty stained and we didn’t want to sit on it, upstairs neighbors were extremely loud (I think thin walls and you could hear when they even turned on the bathroom fan/walked around), and no air conditioning.”

“We stayed at 3 Dixie Mt lane. Unfortunately I would not stay there again. Couch and carpet stained. Entire house smelled musty and gross. The carpet and couch are very old. It was cluttered with oversized furniture and I had to wash kitchen items before using .. House needs updating and a deep clean for the nightly rate they are charging. Somehow bugs can enter thru closed windows and doors. Back Porch light also is broken, we tried to replace a bulb and still didn’t work. Unfortunately the good reviews did not reflect on this house.”

“All the things you want in a short term rental, the place was clean and well appointed. Took some stars off because it's very dated and slightly overpriced. Great location!”
