“It was a great place! In the middle of everything, parking was perfect, not too far from the main building. The unit was exactly what is pictured, everything is clean, and their communication is great! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back anytime we’re in Hilo! Mahalo Terry & Amber!!”

“Great spot that matched the photos. There is great food nearby and a little local market as well. The AC kept us sane and the kitchen and bed were great. There is a black sand beach great for swimming only about a 10 minute drive from the spot. Definitely utilized the chairs and beach umbrella that the hosts generously provided. Would stay here again.”

“This condo is really worth the money! It is very close to the beach and downtown, convenient for shopping, and not far from the airport. The owner is very nice, and prepares a lot of daily necessities. The master bedroom is comfortable, the living room is bright, and the view is not to mention.”

“We enjoyed staying at Terry’s place very much. We found everything we need to stay comfortable. The location is close to many of Hilo’s best restaurants, shops, and parks. One of the popular coffee shops is located just outside the building lobby.”

“We arrived on the big island without a place to stay due to Hurricane Lala. Terry, had the place ready for use in an hour and 45 minutes. We had a nice comfortable stay. Free parking space was nice too.”

“Terry was a great host. Hurricane Lala messed with our trip plans, and we had to change our dates, and he was very accommodating. Terry was also very responsive to messages and calls, which was very helpful.”

“The first several days of our stay were wonderful. Then Hurricane Lala hit. We were without power or water for 48 hours. The hosts and owners bent over backwards to help get through these times. Finally realized the power and water wasn't coming on so went to hotel. The property is perfect, right on the lava cliffs. Pool and accommodations were well maintained. Only drawback was no central air but most properties don't have. Each room had a portable AC unit which was perfect. Opened the windows and got a breeze through the living area. Lots of fans and that helps a lot. Large fridge and freezer. Plenty of dishes, silver and other kitchen items. Keurig as well as drip coffee. Beach gear (no beach access from house) coolers and towels available. Overall, other than the hurricane challenges, a good stay. The neighbors on all sides were very helpful and supportive. Highly recommend this property.....”

“Terry and Amber’s condo was immaculate. We had initially planned to visit Hilo as a home base for hikes and waterfalls we wanted to visit. Unfortunately the timing was not on our side with Hurricane Lala visiting upon our arrival. Terry supplied flashlights for us and communicated consistently with questions and concerns we had. Sadly we weren’t able to enjoy the condo much as the power was out due to the storm but as mentioned, it was very well stocked, extremely clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the view of the lagoon was charming. Great hosts regardless of the circumstances!”
