“This house is beautiful. The Mountain View was beautiful from sunrise to sunset. The neighborhood is quiet & serene. The house is up in a mountain so be prepared to climb your vehicle up a narrow very steep road. Make sure your tires have tread! It’s so worth the peaceful setting this place sits in.”

“The house was very nice, secluded, with a beautiful view. The large, covered deck was great for the grandkids to play on. There was plenty of space for the entire family to gather together or have some quiet alone time.”

“Basement oder was awful as stated in June review by another guest, never fixed. Was told to run dehumidifier, but the damage was done. Porch roof by hot tub leaked like a sieve. We requested a tarp, not provided. There was a lot of rain, but a simple fix by adding a tarp would have solved the problem of the furniture getting soaked. Asked for a credit because basement and porch was not usable, never responded. Would not stay here again.”

“The house was great! It was a beautiful place to stay and great for a big group. It was well stocked. Unfortunately we were not aware that there was an additional fee for the community pool. We felt like we were in a church camp community but not a part of it and not all the amenities were open to us.”

“A plethora of problems, none major but enough of them to be sure we wouldn’t stay there again. Upstairs shower was next to impossible to adjust temperate. Broken exterior door handle (thankfully there was a deadbolt). Mildew/mold smell in basement. Went to use the hot tub the 2nd evening to find it completely dirty. The walls covered in scum and the water cloudy and full of debris. When I expressed the issues, I was told sorry, but the weather was nice so I hope you enjoyed that.”

“Everything was great about the house and location. It is walking distance to Lake Junaluska, which is amazing about this property. The yard is mostly toddler friendly if you have toddlers that like to play outside. The street is busy due to its lake access. The only negative things I have to say are that the dishwasher filter was absolutely disgusting. The dishwasher filter was surrounded by rotting food, and most of the pots, pans, and silverware were oily with food still stuck to them. I know that the guests are supposed to take care of this before checkout, but it’s the staff that’s supposed to do overall checks. I would stay at this property again and again, if these issues were taken care of. No one wants to wash dishes, and scoop out old food from a dishwasher when they first arrive at a rental property.”
