“Everything was wonderful except the mattresses are just fair... not terrible but for this cabin I would expect nicer and more comfortable mattresses. Otherwise it is absolutely fabulous!”

“This cabin was perfect for what the trip was originally for. We were close to where we needed to go for a wedding; however, you are 30+ minutes from Gatlinburg, so prepare to travel if that’s where you are wanting to go. My only complaints were the air vents by the kitchen table aren’t attached to anything and moved easily, and the hot tub water smelled horrible, especially when the jets were in use. I would definitely recommend this cabin.”

“The perfect cabin tucked away but still close enough to get to the Strip. Only thing that wasn’t great for us was the WiFi was spotty and was hard to get upstairs and downstairs. The tv downstairs wouldn’t work which wasn’t good cause my niece needed it to go to sleep. Other than that, so clean and we felt right at home. There’s everything you need there. The beds was super comfy to!!”

“Moonlight Ridge is a great spot to say. —> Location is good (wouldn’t recommend it without 4x4) 13-20 minutes away from anything in pigeon forge + 30 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg area — plenty of quality restaurants nearby (10-15 mins) —> Cabin seems like a “new-er” build, fridge and freezer work well, microwave, coffee pots, oven, toaster all excellent amenities. Nice Pac-Man + another 90+ mini games on the downstairs arcade machine, 4-5 person hot tub that feels good (limited seating) —> Keep in mind the cabin has no bathroom on the entry level. You have to go upstairs or downstairs for a bathroom —> As mentioned in an earlier review, the mattresses are the old school style spring mattress which lay terrible. —> Another thing that bothered us was the fact that there’s windows with no curtains to create privacy at night throughout the entry level, and on the bed room doors (which are just windows). —> Cleanliness of the hot tub could have been better”

“Beautiful place! Great location! We had a great time. Had a problem with the hot tub pretty much the whole stay. Maintenance came out to fix it while we weren’t at the cabin and we came back and it was still not working. I contacted the host again to let them know it still wasn’t working after maintenance had came out there so they came out back out the next day and it was finally working and then as soon as we turned the lights on to it it lost power again. Overall very beautiful place but we love to stay in a cabin in the mountains over a hotel because we have our own private hot tub so that was just very disappointing.”

“The home would have been very beautiful if we didn’t arrive to a dirty place. Check in was at 4pm. We did not arrive till midnight. We enter the home with it not being cleaned. Towels were left in the showers. Beds looked like they had been slept in. We did notify the office when we arrived. Cleaning came out next morning and changed the bedding and provided clean towels and cleaned the place some. After the cleaning lady left, we still found a Paper plate with peanut butter and baby wipe left in the dresser drawer in downstairs bedroom. Dishes in the kitchen cabinet were not clean. The only reason I gave two stars was because the home was beautiful and I loved the location. I would had given a better rating if the place had been cleaned prior to us arriving.”

“We stay in a couple dozen short term rentals each year and of all of them this was probably one of the most disappointing. On arrival it wasn’t very clean which I could look past before we found the moldy milk in dishes in the cabinet. The dishwasher didn’t work at all and after repeated requests for service they showed up and waited for us to compete checkout before coming in to fix. The quality of finish over all is poor with nails sticking out of trim, doors that won’t stay open because they are visibly out of square, the pool alarm came with no instruction to turn off, cigarette butts around the hot tub.. just overall you can tell this is a cheap rental managed by someone that doesn’t seem to care. I made several calls to get resolution and no response back. There’s a lot of choices in the area and considering the cost and distance to the parkway I would have expected much more and would recommend spending renting from any of the other amazing cabins in the area.”

“The place was very nice and clean, however there were a few things that were different from other Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. This home was located in the backyard of another listing (this was not disclosed before arrival). The address on this listing is actually for a different listing and for this listing, you have to pull through the side yard to get to your cabin. Broken broom dustpan, no basic spices such as salt or pepper, extremely thin spring mattresses on steal frames (very uncomfortable), no grill although advertised, and game room was a separate building next to the cabin that couldn’t be accessed without going outside. Overall, my family had a wonderful time, but we’re very flexible.”

“Nice place not really kid proof for kids under the age of five got to see bears walking on the road turkeys and the house has also been attacked by a bear. The back porch screen has been ripped open by a bear so if you do come here be cautious of the bears and the doors do not lock and shut the best back door. Bottom lock does not lock at all and door on back porch does not lock at all All in all really good place. Would recommend to friends. Good value and the explori tickets is a good deal but don't let it fool you. It does not include everything after you get there. It's only certain things be cautious”

“We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The cabin was uncomfortable and not cozy. The beds were extremely firm, with only two pillows per bed and no extra linens provided, which forced us to sleep in the living room for the remainder of our stay. On the first night, we saw a roach in the kitchen. I notified the host and was told pest control would not be available until Monday our checkout day. On our last night, we found what appeared to be a bed bug. No one came to inspect, change bedding, or address the issue beyond saying pest control would be notified. This stay was meant to celebrate a birthday, and the pest issues and lack of comfort significantly impacted what was supposed to be a special trip. The listing photos are misleading, as the layout differs from what is shown. The kitchen is minimally stocked with limited cookware and no basic seasonings. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend choosing a different cabin.”
