“The place is great, spacious, clean, and well located. Our unit is in need of small fixes, like some of the fans around the place not working, or working poorly, and some of the bathroom nobs were broken. But overall, a very good place. My only disappointment was the lack of AC. Maybe that was listed as such and I missed it. The weather helped us for the most part, but some evenings were too warm to sleep comfortably.”

“Absolutely amazing place to stay in Maui! The location was perfect—right along the coastline and within walking distance of nearby resorts, shops, and plenty of things to do. It was the perfect spot to relax while still being close to everything. The only downside was that I wish I could have spent more time there! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui.”

“Aloha! We were a family of 5, with kids aged 5,8 and 11. The place has an incredible view, and very spacious for a family of 5. It has everything what we needed, and there is the pool, hot tub, beach and you can see the turtles from the terrace. You can use the amenities to play basketball or pickleball, and there are bbqs on site - and parking as well. Nearby 5-10mins other great beaches (check Blackrock Beach and Baby Beach). Great place to stay at, very friendly other guests as well. Mahalo!”

“Beautiful place; exactly as described and pictures don't do justice to the sunset views from all rooms of this property. Right the ocean and we could see honus (turtles) swimming in the ocean right from the balcony any time we stepped out. Kitchen is well stocked and filled with plenty of utensils. We are a family of 4 and the property was plenty big for our needs including plenty of towels and linens. It felt a bit hot in the afternoons without the AC; but did I mention serene sunset views? Please note that there isn't any beach supplies such as umbrella, snorkel gears or beach toys, which is clearly mentioned in the description..”

“We had an incredible stay at the Sands of Kahana. The ocean view room was amazing and the on site restaurant was very convenient. The unit does not have any cooking supplies like salt & pepper or non-stick pan spray so be prepared with all cooking supplies.”

“The important thing here is location, location, location! It’s amazing! Just like every other affordable place, this one needs an update, but then again the location can’t be beat. It has no air conditioning.”

“The 6 of us had a great stay at this property! The pictures actually don't do it justice. We knew it was big but it's more spacious than we thought and we were all very comfortable during our stay. We also took advantage of the property's amenities and played tennis, pickleball and did some activities. Even though the weather was warm enough, the pool was nicely heated! The only snag during our trip was when the elevator needed maintenance and they didn't meet the 9am-4pm window, so we had to walk up and down 7 flights of stairs; one of us with a full golf bag. Otherwise, it was a memorable stay with plenty to do nearby!”
