“We had an incredible stay at the Sands of Kahana. The ocean view room was amazing and the on site restaurant was very convenient. The unit does not have any cooking supplies like salt & pepper or non-stick pan spray so be prepared with all cooking supplies.”

“Me and my husband recently stayed here, and we loved it! We had a beautiful view and we got to see lots of turtles right from our balcony. It does get a little hot because there is no AC, but we just kept the doors open and the unit does have multiple fans. We really enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again!”

“The important thing here is location, location, location! It’s amazing! Just like every other affordable place, this one needs an update, but then again the location can’t be beat. It has no air conditioning.”

“Cannot recommend enough, the place was even better than pictured. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was such a dream! You are literally over the water, steps away from the beach. Neighborhood is a short drive to restaurants, but feels quiet and tucked away. The only thing is that it got very hot during the day without AC, but if we kept blinds drawn and doors open it was comfortable.”

“The views were so beautiful!!!! The place was bigger than I expected so it was very comfortable and spacious for a group of 5. The pool and beach access was also great. It was a great location to stay at as it was near Lahaina. We communicated about some concerns during our stay and they did replace the kettle almost immediately. However, the bathroom sliding door was broken during our stay as maintenance was only available halfway through our stay.”

“Great place, very roomy and beautiful views. The pool was very warm and the restaurant poolside was great. In the rainy day we played in the game room, and there is a good coffee shop a block away. Couple of opportunities, the bed in the master is pretty soft and the kitchen is not very stocked (beyond dishes).”

“The 6 of us had a great stay at this property! The pictures actually don't do it justice. We knew it was big but it's more spacious than we thought and we were all very comfortable during our stay. We also took advantage of the property's amenities and played tennis, pickleball and did some activities. Even though the weather was warm enough, the pool was nicely heated! The only snag during our trip was when the elevator needed maintenance and they didn't meet the 9am-4pm window, so we had to walk up and down 7 flights of stairs; one of us with a full golf bag. Otherwise, it was a memorable stay with plenty to do nearby!”
