“Place is as described! Open space- 7 beds and 2 bathrooms that accommodated our family comfortably . Have basic items in kitchen - kids love the garage space ( table tennis and extra TV) , great to have the washer/ dryer, jacuzzi and the grill!! House is close to Bass Lake(15 mins) and the Sugar Pine train, about 30-40 mins drive to the park south gate and extra 45-50 mins to Yosemite Valley.. a lot of switchbacks so consider that when booking a place for Yosemite . House looked clean when we arrived but the floors were not fully cleaned as our socks turned gray walking on the floors- had to wipe - fully cleaned the floors -I would recommend a shower curtain liner for bathrooms as well as better/ thicker/larger towels. Linens looked clean but we found hair strands on some beds- so we washed all the linens and towels to be sure. Overall great place to stay for large family on a budget- and don’t mind the driving back & forth to Yosemite. If days limited- stay inside the Valley”

“Beautiful grounds. House can use a painting especially the baseboards. One bathroom had a lot of tiny ants that we couldn’t get rid of even with spray. Seeing them on your toothbrush isn’t ideal. The steam shower was interesting but water came out from under the sink while using so we didn’t. All 8 of us had to use one shower. Views were beautiful. Easy to take care of. Comfy beds. Would recommend!”

“Good place but changed checkout time last minute”

“If you need a cheap place to stay, this is it. Low quality, dated furniture, old finishings. This isn’t a home maintained with love. Leaky pipes, minimal towels and hand towels. We would not recommend or stay again. Proximity to Yosemite was the only upside.”

“Just a home to stop by.. main attraction to book this place was the gaming room. ping pong table was broken , no enough trash bags only 2 were left in the kitchen, no trash boxes outside, dump was already full with no lock”

“A great spot with lots of potential, but lack of attention to detail and quality was disappointing. Did not match level of cleanliness and quality that we expected from the stellar reviews. Great location by the trail and close to Yosemite, but is right along a road and fairly close to neighbor. Back of house was an inaccessible mess with discarded furniture cushions thrown about. There were rodent droppings in the house, and pet hair that covered my socks completely. Bedrooms had missing sheets on many beds and beds themselves were very uncomfortable. Dishwasher malfunctioned while we were there. Kitchen was stocked with some utensils but missing many essentials (no spoons? One fork?). Several chairs in living rooms were broken - many “repaired” with scotch tape. Hot tubs were nice but we were surprised at check in to find them set at 80 degrees meaning no use possible on first night (we’re not told we would have to turn them up). They also had standing dirt in them.”
