Stay Winter Park
4.74Visit website
Stay Winter Park's guest rating of 4.74 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Stay Winter Park is in the business of making money, not hospitality. It's very important to know that going into it. We planned a last minute trip to the mountains to celebrate a cancer recovery milestone and thought we found the perfect location. Unfortunately, on our first night the fire alarms at the house went off multiple times throughout the night. This meant no sleep for myself and my family, and the kids were pretty cranky about it. I requested to cancel my stay and get a refund since paying $400 for the worst sleep of my life seemed pretty ridiculous. Stay Winter Park would not accommodate. They tried to give us a discount to stay instead, which was absolutely nuts considering no one knew why the alarms were going off and it could easily happen again. I had to get Airbnb involved who gave me a full refund and probably made the bean counters / mustache twirlers at Stay Winter Park swear at me. I would give negative stars if I could. Btw, no AC in the unit fyi”airbnb

“Make sure you follow the written directions to get to the property. GPS/Google maps had us lost for 30 minutes.”airbnb

“Great stay with great features. Within minutes of Grand Lake. Check in time is a bit late than I have experienced with other stays and check out time is a bit early than I have experienced. The place was spacious for everyone to spread out.”airbnb

“It was place to sleep. Clean but a bit shabby: cracked chair coverings, ripped edges on rugs, stove burners didn't really fit the stove and hard hard to keep pots and pans stable, No AC and windows not all working smoothly. Is what it is and if I were skiing all day and just needed a place to sleep, it's adequate, but not a place I actually wanted to hang out in.”airbnb

“Moved to this property after first property we booked got sold…then 2nd property ran out of water after a day…then this property water shut off day 1 and location was not comparable to other house in Grand Lake…got charged same rate as property in grand lake even though this one was less per night and rightfully so! Manger refused to refund the difference after we asked! Do not stay with StayWinterPark!”airbnb

“When we got to the house all the bedding was full of hair, the couches and floor so much dog hair. No hand soap in the bathroom Hot tube was maintained 2 times because it wasn’t working, water was super dirty and greasy, had to have the house keeper come and clean while trying to enjoy with my family, was in complete disappointment, your supposed to get there and enjoy the time with your family not have to get there and have people in and out cleaning something that should have be clean and cared for before renting it!!”airbnb

“Beautiful condo and location. We enjoyed our stay here however we booked this condo because of the hot tub that was shown in the photos but we weren’t provided the key to access the hot tub and weren’t able to use it.”airbnb

“Big place, lots of space, peaceful surroundings. Nice to have access to the indoor pool and hot tub. However, would not stay here again due to getting very little sleep because the bed mattress in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress needs to be replaced. Because of the mattress we got very little sleep. Asked for a checkout of 11 am and was told "No". Check out time of 10am is ridiculous.”airbnb

“The place was great, a very nicely appointed 2 bed / 3 bath that was super comfortable with a ton of living room space and nicely furnished 2 bedrooms. I just want to draw attention to a couple of things that weren't ideal: - The check in (4pm) is quite late for a very early check out (10am). - To add, the cleaners showed up at 9:30am before we had checked out and we felt pressured even further to get out. - The internet did not work during our stay. - The online portal with the detailed arrival instructions didn't work and required multiple messages back and forth to get logged in. - Even once logged in the online portal was hard to navigate and simple information like where you need to park was hard to find. The place itself was great, just some process issues were a bit difficult.”airbnb
