Stay Va Beach
4.77Visit website
Stay Va Beach's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Not a bad spot. Great to get to where you want to be.”airbnb

“This home was in a great location for proximity to the beach, stores and the new music venue The Dome. The house had all the basics we needed and the two full baths were convenient with the large group we had. The cons of this house is that the driveway only had parking for two cars and the street parking they mention in the listing, is not available for overnight parking. Also for the baby items they have listed, are not in the home and you have to rent them from the company. Overall the house was nice and worked well for us.”airbnb

“The location was great, but the house could be a bit cleaner”airbnb

“The only downside was that they don’t leave extra towels. I understand it’s an AirBnB and not a hotel, but if I want to use multiple towels I should be able to do that without having to wash them. However, I would stay here again, I would just bring my own towels so I have more.”airbnb

“Good, quiet location. Spacious rooms and our group of six adults and two kids were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay but it did have some ants in kitchen that we had to spray. It appears it needs new caulking.”airbnb

“We truly appreciated the property's inviting ambiance, comfortable interiors, and impressive curb appeal. The elegant multi-level design, while charming, does involve several staircases, which could be a consideration for guests with mobility challenges or significant luggage. Our main feedback concerns the parking. The advertised garage, a key booking factor for us, was unfortunately too small for our vehicles. This unexpected inconvenience slightly impacted our experience. We had to find parking which included a parking fee. We suggest clearer communication regarding garage dimensions for future guests. Also, if we wanted to check in before 4 pm, the fee was $75.”airbnb

“We recently stayed at Flip Flops for a weekend and were disappointed given the price. On a positive note, the fireplace wasn’t working upon arrival, but John came quickly to fix it. The backyard was nice, and the grill worked great but first required cleaning. I paid $75 for early check-in but received the access code 15 minutes late. The garbage can and coffee pot felt cheap and should be replaced. Additionally, the excessive no-smoking signs felt obnoxious and detracted from the homey feel. The property was “cleanish,” but many dishes & utensils were dirty; there were limited cleaning supplies. The outdoor table & chairs were dirty, requiring me to buy magic erasers to clean them. The shrubbery was overgrown and intruded into the seating area. The selection of games was disappointing, as they were old and picked through. The driveway was also smaller than expected. For over $2,000 for the weekend, I expected a higher level of detail and care. Ultimately, we left a night early.”airbnb

“Had to wait. Called, but they didn't answer. Sat in hold for 10 minutes. Only got in after another guest next door told us about the code being last four of phone number.”airbnb

“On balance we had a lovely time and the house suited our needs. Nicely decorated, nice neigborhood, very good access to the beach. That said, there were details that need attention ... extensive dog hair in dryer vent, twin bed box springs very noisy (pulled mattress onto floor to remedy and get good sleep), cook ware needs replacement (skillets, sheet pans in very bad condition), overall cleaning was ok but baseboards and other areas needed cleaning, significant stain on den area couch (we would not use), dog poop and cigarette butts in fenced in area (we cleaned it up). With a bit more attention to detail by caretakers and if you are not bothered by a busy road nearby it's once again a nice location/neighborhood with great access to the beach.”airbnb
