“We were a family of 3 (2 kids) plus 2 grandparents and we enjoyed our stay! The Airbnb is really well appointed. We stay on Mission Beach every year and this was the nicest interior and exterior of any place we’ve stayed at. The huge patio right on the boardwalk was fantastic. Comfortable outdoor seating. Plenty of sand toys, beach chairs and a couple of boogie boards for the kids (we still rented body boards from Hamel’s for a better ride). We brought a blowup mattress as we were short one bed for the 5 of us and that worked ok. Only downside was the planes that fly overheard. They stop between 12am-6am. Bring earplugs and enjoy the beach! For food within walking distance we loved Blue Palm restaurant and Tea’s (inside The Pennant. 21+). Don’t rent body boards from Mission Rentals (falling apart) - go to Hamel’s. Belmont Park is so fun, get the unlimited pass. If the kids get sick of the beach, mine loved Plunge where there is a pool obstacle course. Enjoy!”

“Location, location, location! This place had a beautiful outdoor patio with a gorgeous view and close walk to Belmont. However, I’ve stayed at much lower end places that had everything you would need to cook and this place did not. It lacked basics like a cutting board (which we bought and left some), food prep bowls, pot holders, storage bowls, dish sponge, wine (plastic or glass) glasses, coffee filters and foil/plastic wrap. One of the showers had disgusting mildew all over it! The master screen door was torn and outside there were unusable rusted out umbrella stands. Only one was usable. There was also a lack of communication about spacing out trash cans, so the garbage truck did not empty them all while we were there. Positives were the host was accommodating/pretty chill and bedrooms were pretty nice and spacious. We did love the view and proximity to Belmont. However, for the price I would definitely not stay here again.”

“This was a great place to stay. Such a beautiful home. It was out by itself on the track. Gorgeous sunsets on the patio. My kids had a blast walking the grounds and seeing the animals. The property is very clean as well as the house. Not a thing out of place! We will be staying again when we visit the area! Thank you so much for the hospitality.”

“The most clean and one of the most well equipped and furnished air bnb homes we have ever stayed in. The furniture was beautiful & well made, which is unheard of for rental homes. We were extremely comfortable in the house. The master bed was a little too firm for my liking, but that is a personal preference. Will definitely stay here again.”

“It was a very nice place Ideal for a beach location The ground floor had benefits like the patio (which is awesome) and negatives - need to close everything up for security when sleeping so that limits airflow without Air Condition. It gets stuffy with doors and windows closed. You are also literally on the ground floor and 4 volleyball courts are steps from the door on the beach - again a positive cause it's very close and cool but a negative at 6-7am when they start warming up. The beach path is RIGHt there so constant runners, walkers, talkers and music again a positive and a negative This place is AMAZING- depends on what you like My biggest negative You had to close everything up when sleeping and without AC it got stuffy The location and patio are BEST on the beach”

“We had a fantastic stay at this Mission Beach rental. Our family of four — two college‑age kids plus my spouse and me — felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The place was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing beach getaway. The location couldn’t be better: steps to the sand, easy walks to coffee, food, and the boardwalk. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the layout made it easy for everyone to unwind after long days in the sun. Communication with the host was fast, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We’d happily return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a stress‑free Mission Beach vacation.”
