Stay at 30A Vacation Rentals

“our stay was sooo close to the beach and the pool was clean which was great for those days we were not able to get in the beach water. all around great place to stay, we really enjoyed ourselves!”

“Great home. The kids enjoyed it. Only problem we had was the back and side yard was infested with wasp. They sent someone right over but it was way too many for them to resolve while we were on location I guess. House was clean and looked great!”

“I will say the listing states at Watersound but there is no free public beach access nearby. The state park they advertise, you have to pay $3 to park there and it's a VERY long walk to the water. The description of the location needs to be modified to let customers know there is no convenient beach access Our carbon monoxide alarm went off the 3rd night and the fire department had to come out and said there was carbon monoxide detected. I told them about this incident, and the text I received back said "thanks for letting us know." Nothing else. I found that inconsiderate! Minimal kitchen supplies, not even salt & pepper. no paper towels and the toilet paper was paper thin. The beach towels there are basically thin like a sheet that did not dry us off! The beach chairs were broken. Spend a little more on having nicer quality stuff in the unit for as much as we paid to stay! Also 0 games for the kids, not even a deck of cards. We would not stay there again because of these things”

“Our stay was alright. The location was perfect however the place itself lacked things I would think an Airbnb would have. For example: only given two tiny trash bags for a whole week, had no basic condiments like salt, pepper etc. There was a cup machine but no kcups? For the price the only thing that made it worth it was the location. If you’re staying for less than 4 days this place would be worth it but stayin for a week this place didn’t have all that we needed.”

“Don’t book this place. Owner cancelled on me at last minute. I was 1 hour away from arrival. No explanation whatsoever. Even though Airbnb tried to help by booking something else for me - nothing at the last minute was to my standard. The same place was available after they cancelled with me. My payment was returned to me. It was so troublesome that I drove back home. So upset and mad. So if I had cancelled on them I would lose my money. But they cancelled on me and no consequences. Very shady it seems.”

“My husband and I stayed at this location for our honeymoon. We absolutely loved it, there was so much to do in the surrounding area. We enjoyed utilizing the kayaks, bikes, and paddle boards that were provided. However, the only reason I am giving this place four stars is in the listing we did not realize we would not have the entire house to ourselves. We had plenty of space and privacy on the ground floor with a private entrance, but we would have liked to know before booking that someone else would be in the upper levels of the house while we were also there. We were caught a bit off guard when we pulled into the driveway and saw another car. The only other complaint was that the tenant upstairs was a bit noisy (dog barking, loud TV, stomping, etc.). Overall, we did really enjoy our stay, we just would have appreciated the listing stating that this booking is not a private home. We love 30A and will definitely be back to visit.”

“The beds were extremely hard. The hardest I have ever had to sleep on ever. There were a previous person's dirty socks behind furniture. Couches were uncomfortable and table. The furniture desperately needs updated. The light switches were hard to work none of the remotes in the place worked couldn't watch TV once.”
