Spring Brook Resort

“Overall good stay! Pros: Very clean Comfortable couches Outdoor seating Cons: Uncomfortable beds Flat pillows Lack of supplies We knew ahead of time that the resort wouldn’t have supplies in the house, but after experiencing it we realized how inconvenient that really was. You got one bar of soap per bathroom to use for washing hands and showering.. plus no hand soap at all for the kitchen. The price was right compared to others, but the cost of purchasing these items from stores nearby maybe made the savings not as great.”

“Our cottage was only ready just before 5PM and we had to check out by 10 am.”

“Great place, the room was wonderful, not well stocked though, compared to what we are used to from an Airbnb. Tipping culture goes too far, what are we paying for if they aren't paying thier staff?”

“It was clean and roomy. It had everything we needed and it was in a good location close to what we did. Beds were comfortable too.”

“Although our home was surface clean I think deep cleaning is needed. All the cabinets were sticking where they close and on the wall with the clock something had to have been spilled or something because the wall is stained. Great property but was instantly put off to walk in and see a tip envelope even though we booked through Airbnb and paid a cleaning surcharge.”

“Enjoyed the house very much. It was located in a quiet part of the resort. The pool was an added bonus.”

“Eagles Nest was very nice. Exactly as described. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been a more balanced temperature throughout. In order to keep it cool enough to sleep upstairs the downstairs was FREEZING. We could not use the amenities like the pool table, arcade etc because it was just too cold.”

“Spider webs and spiders in bathtub and shower. Rugs were not vacuumed or cleaned. Overall dirty and dusty. Difficulty regulating temperature in the cabin. Either too cold or too hot. Front door squeaked really loudly every time it was opened or closed. Old and outdated. Would not recommend to others.”

“It's hard to express the level of disappointment with Spring Brook Resort. A resort is a place of luxury -- and this is not luxurious. It is a house that isn't updated with Christmas decorations still up and around in May, and traffic noise from the highway. My husband and I tried the place out for one night at $900, expecting to fall in love with it and the amenities -- and bring a larger group to the area. You could go to almost any hotel with a Presidential Suite and do better for less ... or stay in a private home that is exquisite. This is not that. Lastly, Spring Brook "Resort" was cumbersome to navigate, doesn't understand the term 'customer service', and will focus on having you sign pages and pages of rental agreements that have nothing to do with you as the guest. p.s. You can look at my other Airbnb reviews and see I am not a complainer -- and I've stayed at dozens and dozens of beautiful properties all over the United States for 9 years. This was in the bottom 10%.”

“Great stay for the weekend. Would like to see more of a clean space. We had some trash on the counters and stained towels.”
