“I'll start off by saying we had a wonderful time at Cassimir West. The location is amazing. The beach on this stretch of EI is awesome. Wide, scenic and perfect for a large group. The neighborhood is very close to the shops and restaurants at that end of the island, so we couldn't have asked for a better spot to have a vacation. A few shortcomings though... I'd think about the size (literally) of your group. We had 6 teenagers and 4 adults. It was tight. There is no couch in the playroom despite the pics, so the teenagers barely used it. Also the internal stairs are very steep--I kept thinking about how my mother in law would deal with that for a week--it might not have been very good. Kitchen worked great, good tools and plenty of space. Bottom line, you're getting a great location. I've been going to EI since the '80s and my family owned 2 houses there, so I have a bit of experience. At the end of the day, it's beachfront, and you can't beat that.”

“Enjoyed our stay and would book again. We found the house to be as described and pictured. We loved that the house was on a quiet, dead end street with the beach access just a few houses down. Mini golf and ice cream were within a walkable distance, conveniently located a very short drive from restaurants and grocery stores. The kitchen was well-stocked. I would recommend replacing the few beach chairs available for use, adding a baby gate for convenience, and replacing or offering extra bed pillows.”

“A Nautical Marker is a beautiful place to stay. However, staying at a place maintained by Spinnaker Reach Realty is not. They will tell you they triple checked place but not true! When we arrived, one bedroom had a bed with no sheets and not enough towels. They did finally agree to bring it. Never fixed the drain in shower so hard to take shower with standing water. One bathroom sink only has warm water. Place was not clean. Dishes were put back not washed. Socks and feet were dirty in no time walking around on floor. FYI: bring toilet paper-only given part of a roll to last entire stay, trash bags-only get 2. Bring dish towels and paper towels because only 1 roll of paper towels per stay and no dish towels there. If cooking, will need hot mitt, muffin pan if making muffins. Every resident we met was so nice and kind. Will plan to stay again but will go with another company to rent since tenants with other companies had these items provided and had much better service.”

“The location was good but there were a number of issues that we reached out about and said they would be taken care of while we were there & were not - namely the disgusting air filter in the kitchen and the gas grill that would not ignite. 3 people got glass in their feet in the living room in the first 24 hours. There was dust literally everywhere & the couches were disgusting. There was a massive gash in the screen door and wasp nests surrounding the property.”

“The house has great potential. Well decorated. Has everything you would needed. Nice decks. Good size. Definitely needs to be better maintained. There was water damage on bathroom ceiling. A weird smell in living room that we couldn’t pin point if it was furniture or rug. Mold in dishwasher and mildew in showers.”

“House is convenient to a beach access, and 3 miles from the Pier. Renting a golf cart is great way to see a lot of the Island. Bring your own pillows. They are very flat. No extra sheets, so bring extra if more people are expected. Be aware of metal very rusted with sharp edged table on downstairs enclosed porch. Pool is amazing!!! There’s a piece of metal rebar’s that sticks up like a peg where the driveway meets the parking area. Trip hazard. Great parking!!! Bring a big sauté/fry pan. Better yet a griddle! No descent frying pans! Watch your step on Spiral case….and bring your own shower towels!!! Great location!!”

“The beach was beautiful the house just had some problems like a chair was broken, the washer didn’t work properly, the bbq grill was dirty, there was sand on the beds,kitchen tables and on the floor. The vacuum that they had wasn’t the best either. The washer and dryer as well as the grill was shared with the people next door. When I message the renters about the washer they never responded. The house seems like it might need some maintenance but the beach was very pretty.”

“Lovely appointed home but no clear direction on what we could partake in”

“Management is competent but beware of this property spiral staircase inside very small and dangerous, outside stairs wood slick very hign and steep outside stairs. Toilets like a camper or toy size for a child. Old property not updated. Doors almost impossible to work locks. Management did come to fix a light out inside stairway but no chain on a ceilng fan light. All gates barely functional. Not what we expected for top dollar. No bedrooms on main livingroom kitchen floor and terrible access between floors. No beach view no pool view. Almost everything around looked like it had some water view, recommend you keep looking. Don't rule out options on the beach resort or condo.”
