“The place was in an amazing location, very close to South Padre. We did have an issue with the fridge and freezer not staying cold the first night, but it ended up getting there eventually. Otherwise it was great, highly recommend!”

“Our stay was great. Great amenities, great location, but the AC in the bed rooms were not cool enough. The temperature in the living area dis not match the bedrooms. It was stuffy that we had to use the fans.”

“The house was very nice but a shelf broke prior to us getting there so the garage was inexcusable for me to wash all of our wet salty clothes so I had to drive home with wet stinky clothes 6 hours away I asked for a discount none was offered she sent a handy man at 7 the night before we left no time to wash anything”

“Nice & clean home, with most necessities! Complimentary coffee would have been a nice touch, but everything we needed in the kitchen was clean and available, just like an every day lived in home. We even had plasticware to store our leftovers. Instructions were clear and check-in/out was easy. The 4-star review is due to the later check-in and earlier check-out times. Typical check-in that I've experienced is 2 or 3 pm and check out by 11am. We could not arrive earlier than 4pm and had to leave by 10am. When I inquired, Janet gladly said that we could extend our stay til 12, however I found in the binder that I would be charged an extra $50 an hour. I text to confirm that there was an upcharge for a later check-out and received a brief "Yes." I am grateful I read through everything because when she agreed we could stay longer, she did not explain that I would have to pay an extra $100. Overall, the place was nice, quiet, clean, & we enjoyed the pool one pm- take mosquito spray! 😁”
