Manager Review

Spectrum Resort

Spectrum Resort's guest rating of 4.59 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Lovely grond floor aprtment, comfy beds and resort pools were excellent. However being the ground floor we were unlucky with loud noisy people staying above us. I think the actul buildings are not very solid and so noise carries very easily. Access to a lot of different pools across the Reunion Resort which was great. After check in you then have to drive to the main Reunion Hotel and get the waterpark wristbands. Not sure why Spectrum cant have these ready so it means just one check in. The Spectrum pool area is lovely, free towels with lots of sunbeds (although many are ripped and do need replacing) and also free cabana's. We stayed in April so perhaps not in full season yet but the bar area was non existant so when I went to get some cold drinks one day from the reception fridge I was told the manager was off that day and had the only key to the fridge which was a bit strange. Car parking is a bit frustrating as can't park outside the apartment. Good location for sightseeing.

The townhome was beautiful. You can tell it's fairly new. The community is peaceful and new. Due to flight delays we arrived much later than we expected (around 3am) and were able to check in without issues which was much appreciated. Our only disappointment was we didn't know the waterpark was closed during the time we visited and that was not disclosed initially. The community is walkable and there are tons of places to eat nearby. We would stay here again asking in advance if all amenities are open.

My family stayed here for our Disney trip. I would say it was decent proximity to the parks. There is a nice plaza close by that has a Publix and restaurants and coffee shops. The condo was spacious! Great outdoor patio and beautiful large kitchen. The only negative about our unit is that we could hear quite a bit through the walls. We were right next to the elevator control room, and from the master bedroom we could hear clicking noises all day and night. Just turn up your sound machine! We also could hear what sounded like a child running around upstairs, and water drain through the walls, I don’t know if it was from the shower or maybe washing machine. Overall, the place was great! We did not utilize the pool, but it was very large and a beautiful layout.

Shortly after check-out, I noticed an unexpected charge of $315 from the Spectrum Resort on my card. When I contacted them for clarification, I was given several conflicting and inaccurate explanations. First, I was told that my room remained occupied after 4:00 p.m. on my check-out date and that a guest had claimed to have extended the stay through Airbnb, resulting in a late fee. This was not possible, as I had checked out by 11:15 a.m. and no longer had access to the room due to the deactivated entry code. I was also informed that the charge was due to the room being left “excessively dirty” or for property damage. When I asked for specifics regarding what was allegedly damaged, the representative stated they did not have that information available. Given the contradictory explanations and lack of evidence, I am concerned that these charges are improper and potentially fraudulent.
