“It was fine for the couple nights that we stayed. It was clean, but it's definitely an older house that had a musty smell and one room smelled so bad of must and perfume that we just closed it up and didn't use it. The lock on the door was a bit finicky and usually took multiple tries to lock or unlock. Otherwise, the property had what we needed.”

“We had a great weeklong stay at this property. The location of this Airbnb was central to everything - within 15 minutes of Downtown and La Jolla, and 30 minutes to Legoland. The pool and hot tub were a great amenity. The house was very spacious for the five of us. The cons: - The primary bathroom's shower drain cover was not screwed down all the way and felt like a hazard, could have possibly cut a foot during our showers if not careful - The primary bedroom and bathroom had lots of ants. We ended up picking up ant spray during our stay”

“We had the pleasure of staying at this rental for about 1 week: Pros: - very conveniently located, no more than 15-20 minutes from a lot of major attractions in San Diego - for 6 adults, 3 toddlers, and 1 small dog, we were more than accommodated with respect to space and comfort for our families. - The highlights of the stay were the pool/spa, which kept our little ones plenty busy and entertained during the recent heat wave, and the newly renovated kitchen which could sit our group quite comfortably. Aesthetically very pleasing design and layout. Cons: - some of the parts of the bathrooms could use some TLC; some rusting on some of the metal accessories, and one of the towel bars wasn't very well mounted and was close to falling off - we ended up having to grab some extra TP and Paper towels, but this was just a minor inconvenience - some extra towels from the closet had some stains - updates needed to house manual Despite the cons, overall a very family friendly accommodation!”

“Ozzy was pleasant. Rental company sent him to fix the guest shower and lightbulbs 2 days after they were notified they were broken. Our water unexpectedly shut off on our check-out day and we were still rushed out by cleaners before 10am, even though we were mid showers and delayed due to the unplanned lack of water. Home is dimly lit in the evenings. The pool, hot tub, location and pinball machine were wonderful.”

“Pros: Excellent, convenient location close to key areas in San Diego. Cons: Very limited overall space, tight bathroom quarters, and zero closet storage. Note: The property is managed by a company, and communication/responsiveness was unfortunately null during the stay. Ideal for self-sufficient travelers prioritizing location over space.”

“This home is as advertised--a comfortable place to stay with nice amenities that fits 6-8 people very comfortably. The pool and spa were nice; don't worry too much about having to pay for pool heating--the iPad/app that controls the pool/spa has an option to turn on the solar heating for the pool, and that got it to a range that was comfortably warm. Nice kitchen that was very well equipped--you can show up with groceries and be confident they have what you need to prepare a meal. Things we didn't love: 1) arrived on a Wednesday evening (trash day) and the outside trash in side yard was already overflowing and on the ground from a cat that had opened a bag, so we had stinky trash on the ground for our entire stay (told company and they said someone would come by--didn't happen), 2) shower drains in one guest bathroom and primary barely drained; notified management and tried to accommodate a plumber visit but schedules did not line up. Otherwise--terrific house--would stay again!”
