Soleil Vacations Vacation Rentals

Soleil Vacations Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.44 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Stayed with 2 preteens and two dogs and the house was great in size and in a location close to everything, which was extremely convenient. The pool was amazing and the shower in the backyard was a lifesaver after a day from the beach. The downside to the home was the backyard was filled with small spikey balls that kept my dogs from being able to run in the yard, which was the main reason we chose this home. While the home was stocked with many items, it was the first time there were no cleaning supplies to wipe down counters. Not a big deal, I probably overlooked this in the description. There was leftover debris, dirt, and items from previous guests under the furniture in the living room that our dog alerted us to. A TV controller was missing in one of the bedrooms and would not be a big deal, but they contacted me asking me where it was, along with a standup mirror. These items were never there and I had video of the house when we entered, and I never received a follow up.

Do yourself a favor, AVOID THIS HOST : SOLEIL. We traveled from Miami, and our plane landed in Pensacola at 7.30am. 2 hours drive to PCB. We advised host that we would be by the property before 10am, and kindly requested an early check in. Host replied that it was impossible, since another family was checking out at 10am, and the place had to be cleaned. We understood, and continued to ask if we could use the beach or pool while we waited. Host said NO, and suggested we'd go to a public beach nearby. He also said if the apartment was done cleaning before 4pm, he'd let us know. We waited in a parking lot next to the building since 12 noon. Your access to the beach is literally a gate code, and there's no code to the pool. We just needed a code, but Host refused to give it. Cleaning crew left before 3.20pm, and Host didn't activate entry code to the unit till 4pm. Host gave wrong access code to beach twice. We had to wait for other tenants to go to the beach or go back inside.

The unit is convenient to the beach access point #2 as well as Patches pub. Upon arrival I was not impressed by the exterior, next to unit 1 there is an unsightly double seating chair that had two rocks next to one of the legs that was supposed to support and keep the whole thing level I’m guessing. There were also weeds growing/overtaking the sidewalk that runs alongside the unit. It’s a shame because those two items are an easy fix that would elevate your first impression of this place. Check in was easy, the inside was pretty clean but I would categorize the furnishings as mediocre. Our first morning there we woke up to not having water. I checked to see if I had any info regarding this from my host and I did not so I sent an email to make them aware of the situation. They responded a short time afterwards and said that there was a break in a major waterline that was being worked on. I never heard from them again and we were under a boil water advisory the entire week.

This place is very dirty, pics are deceiving, no hot water in kitchen, water was in the dryer then when was telling them about it was told it was because of someone putting ice I the dryer …..smelled very moldy only one bedroom and one bath. There are two toilets and sink but only one shower …. Bring cooking utensils if planning on cooking in kitchen there isn’t very many oh and the keypad lock in our door didn’t work. And elevators were slow. Not worth the money. I’m not normally one to complain but this place was not good. There are some updated units that seemed very nice but 1013 isn’t one of them!!

Pros: Good driving location to tourist stuff. Nice pools. House had everything we needed in it for a week. Cons: I was looking forward to the enclosed sunroom. It had such a horrible mildew smell to it when we went in it. The rugs were so nasty and dirty. Just throw them away or replace them. The first morning I noticed the sprinkler in the back was shooting water straight into the sunroom windows which was leaking INSIDE the house. I reported it to the property management with videos and pictures. Nothing was ever done. It has been doing this for awhile and ruining the homeowners property inside from water damage. I found who owns the property and will send them a letter so they are aware this company is doing nothing to fix this issue and will provide them with videos and pictures. The floors in the house need cleaned we wore socks the whole time and they were black each day. The baseboards were all dirty. This house needs a deep cleaning. I agree with the other reviews left.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I wanted to share a few things that families with young children should know. The "kids' bedroom" is an open loft with only a half wall, and there's a fourth-floor balcony right outside, which made us uncomfortable with small children. The bunk bed mattresses were also very thin, and you could easily feel the wooden slats underneath. This may not be an issue for everyone, but it's something I wish we had known before booking. I hope this feedback is helpful to both future guests and the host. This property may be a good fit for some travelers, but families with younger children may want to consider the layout and sleeping arrangements before booking.

We stayed 7 days and as soon as we walked in we noticed the windows where not clean they had fingerprints on the windows and the mirror above the couch had fingerprints and upstairs there was pet hair from I’m assuming the last stay we did not bring a pet. The back porch or backyard was messy and the front porch was also messy and not the same as the picture there was not a front porch seating area there was actually no chairs at all to sit in and there was beer bottle caps also left from the last stay in the rocks the neighbors beside us where super nice and told us the last people who stayed where loud and threw caps in the rocks and she had to pick them up because the cleaners did not and the house was put up for sale so there was a sign in the rocks but other then that the bar behind us was amazing they had good food and good music but they only played until 10 o’clock or so not very late.

The unit was beautiful except for a few major hiccups like the bedding was missing, but they did rectify the situation. I did some send someone even though it was 10 PM. We’re very tired from the trip so we were ready to lay down, but the housekeeper was gracious he even purchased us a cheese pizza if you like that sort of thing, but the pizza was hot and you know he tried to make up for it. You should really do better as far as getting the correct information and the parking pass because I have sat in that lobby before like 45 minutes trying to get in contact with you all the numbers you left of course there were only available to a normal business hours, and it was on a Sunday so you know I just felt like I’m embarrassed just sitting down there looking crazy like I was trying to break in a place or like I’d have reservations or something. It’s very embarrassing.

First off we walked in and found ants right away on the countertop. Then we were plugging in my fan in one of the bedroom outlet walls and realized none of the outlets in the bedroom worked and one was pulled out of the wall. Then while loading the dishwasher noticed a piece was broken off. Tried making coffee in the morning and the coffee pot leaks everywhere. Tons of crumbs and chips all over 3rd bedroom. Tvs fans and counters were all dusty like they havent been cleaned in months. Tried messaging the host for 2 days straight every hour and no response. Then had to get in touch with airbnb for them to contact host only to tell me none of these issues could be fixed during my stay. Lucky i was able to get a partial refund of 500 dollars. But for a 2500 dollar room for 1 week we expected way more than this. Sad!

Size and location of this house is perfect for what we wanted. Location was just outside of the hustle and bustle to be relaxing but still close enough for a quick ride in. The cleanliness of the house, was majorly lacking. A small amount of sand is understandable with proximity to the beach, but other individual’s hair balls in the corners of rooms, pet hair and grime along the base boards, what can only be described as body oils on the walls, dust bunny’s hanging off the walls, and bathtub drains clogged by others’ hair, is not. We attempted one load of laundry on day 3 of our stay (Friday), reached out to the host on Saturday after dryer would not dry clothes, was told someone was coming out(later learned they had an emergency and that’s why they didn’t come), only learned this information on Sunday after reaching back out. Tuesday, maintenance showed up with no notice, but the dryer was finally “fixed”, attempted one load of laundry and it still did not work correctly.
