Snow Summit Escape
4.60Visit website
Snow Summit Escape's guest rating of 4.60 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Location was great, and check-in was easy. There were a few minor issues during our stay. Trash bags were not provided, the outlets in the main bedroom did not appear to be working, and we were unable to access the Apple TV downstairs despite following the provided instructions. Overall, the stay was comfortable and the property worked well for our visit.”airbnb

“Overall, we had a decent stay, but there were several issues that kept this from being a great experience. The location was quiet and convenient, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and modern, and the check-in staff were friendly. We also appreciated the smart TV. Unfortunately, the condo had a smelly (fish like) odor when we arrived, and several amenities didn’t match the listing. The property was advertised as having air conditioning, but there was only a single wall AC unit in one room, which wasn’t sufficient for the entire condo. It was also listed as having two queen beds, but there was only one. The kitchen could have been better stocked and cleaned. There was no dish soap, some of the kitchen supplies were dirty, and we even found old cooked rice left in the oven. Bathroom toiletries were also very limited. The property has potential, but I hope the host”airbnb

“place was in a great location and staff was pleasant, however, jacuzzi was removed and we didn't get notified ahead of time. There was no hot water in shower and pool was not heated like described.”airbnb

“Great place, comfortable and just what we needed. Was not cleaned up before we arrived (a housekeeper had to come by and clean up the dust, webs and dead flies in the tub.) Consideration for a guest's comfort was much less than it could have been with the large dog barking like crazy whenever I would go into the office. No "sorry about that" or putting the dog in another room. It seemed like the attitude of: "my dog, my office....deal with it". Loved the place & location but would have to think twice about renting again due to the disregard for a guest's comfort with their wildly barking dog.”airbnb

“John's place was nice and comfortable. Bedrooms are downstairs down the hall from the entrance. Kitchen and living room are upstairs. Be aware that even walking carefully upstairs makes a lot of noise in the bedrooms if you have light sleepers. We cooked se eral meals during our stay and there were plenty of cooking utensils as well as pots/pans. Basic spices stocked, but we bring our own. Kids loved the bathtub”airbnb

“If your goal is to have easy access to Snow Summit, this is the spot for you! For that reason, I would 100% book again! However, it is clear that the host simply does not do things because he does not HAVE TO. This means things like the cheapest soap and bare minimum maintenance. It is very dated and everything is a little janky/stained/broken. I say this in a public review only in hopes that feedback is not ignored.”airbnb

“We checked in to find the kitchen covered in confetti, like from a party popper, which immediately made the place feel unclean. The house also had very few basic consumables, and the first night there were no pillowcases on the pillows. We had to request them from the host. For a high-priced rental, the property feels quite outdated and not especially well maintained. The biggest issue came on our last day when a snowstorm hit. The property had no real preparation for winter conditions. The only snow shovel available was broken, and when the power and heat went out there was no backup plan, no emergency supplies, and not even a note advising guests what to do if electricity fails. We eventually dug out using the broken shovel and were honestly just glad to be leaving. For the price, we expected a property that was cleaner, better maintained, and prepared for basic winter conditions. That was not our experience, and we would not stay here again.”airbnb
