“The Knotty Pine was an awesome romantic getaway in the mountains. It was very clean and quaint. The hot tub was very relaxing with a great view of the woods. I highly recommend staying here!”

“Planned to spend the weekend here a the end of a two week road trip, when I arrived there was a massive rut blocking the driveway forcing me to find emergency parking. My car was towed because of this and cathy refused to even acknowledge the problem let alone solve it. The rut was so substantial that my uber driver (whom I was forced to pay for due to car being towed) got his lifted truck stuck in the driveway having to use 4wd to get out of it. On top of all of this the toilet was broken upon arrival forcing me to fix it after every flush. I spent less than 12 hours at this property and lost over $600 as a result.. When coming to Tennessee BE SURE TO AVOID THIS HOST.”

“The house and view were absolutely amazing. The house was clean and inviting. There was great outdoor areas for seating and hanging out. The only thing we were unprepared for was the drive to get to the house. We were pulling a large enclosed trailer and riding motorcycles and were a little surprised with the drive up to the house. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend it.”

“We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return! The layout was perfect for our group. 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and the interior was very clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic; peaceful and away from the busy tourist areas, yet close to stores and centrally located for our excursions. We loved having the river right behind the house and were even lucky enough to see a bobcat and briefly watch an osprey hunting along the river. Next time, we’ll definitely rent a kayak! The A/C worked well overall, but the bedroom on the main floor stayed noticeably warmer, which made sleeping in that room a little more difficult...especially for a woman of a certain age. LOL! The back deck could also use a quick pressure cleaning. We had to take care of a couple of wasp nests before enjoying the space. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful location with a great setup. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to get to enjoy the house this fall.”

“Absolutely terrible. The steep slope damaged the undercarriage of my car both getting in an out. AC was not working temperature 89F when we walked in. Called the number security picked up and was very rude and inconsiderate. Cathy was not responsive. Called Airbnb and they helped me cancel the reservation. Never recommend anyone this place as the hosts are just mean they are are corporation. not your regular mom and pop business.”
