Skyrun's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Not well stocked like the other bnb's I've stayed. Sent a message to the host thru Airbnb messaging. Host was slow to respond when a truck double-parked and I couldn't get my car out of the parking lot. Found out later that they respond faster via text.”airbnb

“The room was nice. The mini fridge didn’t do a great job freezing the ice cubes. My biggest complaint would be that there was an amazing view which is why I booked it. Unfortunately right in front of this wonderful view were two big green dumpsters. I would have thought they could have hid them a bit better to not ruin so much an amazing view.”airbnb

“Overall the house was fine. Good location near Estes and the national park. There were some mouse droppings in the basement and the house has several mice traps around. So, seems like this is an issue to address. We were there 6 nights and overall disappointed in very minimal supplies. We had to buy trash bags, TP, laundry and dish detergent and spices to cook with (pepper). Also disappointed that dish washer has to be ran after every meal given so few plates in the cupboard. Freezer leaks water into fridge as well. Also no instructions for the house which was strange. There is no AC but a thermostat for “cool” - confusing. For the price per night was a bit disappointed and would not book again.”airbnb

“The location was wonderful. Peaceful and a great view of the pond and the golfers. The unit has bare essentials. We had to buy everything like oil, coffee filters, salt and pepper. Would be nice to have some amenities like games, pickleball racquets, salt and pepper, cooking oil, Keurig machine, hand soap in kitchen and bathrooms, clothes to clean the kitchen counters, shampoo and conditioners, body soap. A few water bottles to get us settled in would have been a nice touch. The place is setup like an Airbnb so some additional items would really make our stay much nicer. Being able to walk to the beach was really nice since parking by the beach is not easy. Having a booklet telling us the whereabouts would also be great for out of town guests. It was nice to be able to control the temperature in the house. Was a very nice size house for 4 to maybe 5 people. We enjoyed our stay and would come back but will be more prepared.”airbnb

“We have stayed at this property several times in the past 5 years. Each year, the condition of the place worsens, yet the private neighborhood and close proximity to the beach keep us coming back. Sadly, that run will end with this particular stay. There were many stains/ hair/ debris on the rugs, a strong pet smell, the beds were wildly uncomfortable and the dishwasher and dryer were not in great working condition. Before you get in the shower, you have to make sure someone else is nearby because the door to the shower sticks and you need someone to get you out from the other side. (We had that same problem last year as well, shame on us for giving it another go). The pickleball court in the neighborhood is lovely and the neighborhood itself is so nice to walk. However, in terms of value for what you’re paying, you can absolutely find a better deal in this neighborhood. For our 9 day stay there were two rolls of toilet paper, zero hand soap in the bathroom and one paper towel roll.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, the pictures on the listing were a bit misleading. We were a little disappointed that the “waterfront” was not accurate. The backyard was a steep hill with trees and very dangerous. I am so glad my daughter decided not to bring my 2 year old grandson at the last minute. We ended up going to beavers bend state park so the everyone could have access to water. The Internet was an issue as well. The listing also states kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans. We had to go to dollar general to buy some larger pans as we had 12 people in the house, lots of food to make at one time. The pots and pans were suitable for maybe 2-4 people. I would have taken my pots and pans had I known vs purchasing some there. The kayaks are not on the property. You have to drive to access them. The firewood that we purchased for $100 were a job to keep lit. We ran out of toilet paper on the 3rd day there. The house was far from the grocery store as well. However, the home itself was nice.”airbnb

“This is a beautiful house with wonderful space and usage of the space, however, just missing the mark with a few things. Firstly, the hot tub being broken upon arrival when it’s advertised in the listing name is unacceptable. We booked filtering for this amenity. Secondly, 2 of the upstairs rooms desperately need curtains as it is way too bright first thing in the morning and the blinds are insufficient. Lastly, the kitchen sink handle was broken and was challenging to work around.”airbnb

“Slow to respond host, overall a good place to stay! A little further north of hochatown than expected. I will watch out for location more closely on my next visit!”airbnb

“The unit is need of a deep clean and maintenance. The hot tubs, except one, were closed for repairs. There was one heated pool that was used by the entire community, so very busy. The washer didn’t work. One bed was literally 4 feet off the ground (the queen/full) for adults. It took a bit of a jump to get up there. All in all, I wouldn’t pay this price again for this unit at any time of the year.”airbnb

“The condo was beautiful. Fantastic views of the ocean. Upscale furnishings. Wonderful neighborhood. However the host was less than helpful. We had concerns about getting to the location as just 2days prior to our arrival the news indicated that the town should be avoided. I made repeated attempts with the host to get updates on road conditions. I mostly received form letter responses indicating how I can check in. When she actually responded in person I still did not get information on road conditions. I also left a swimsuit in the dryer and had little response to those messages either other than they wanted 75 dollars to mail it to me (I was able to pick it up eventually). I would rather deal with a helpful and personable host than with realty company rep.”airbnb
