“The views from this unit are simply magnificent! We loved watching sea turtles and sunsets from the balcony. The condo is spotlessly clean and spacious and beautifully decorated just as shown in the pictures. The restaurant on site was so convenient and had great options all day long. It was also an easy 5-10 minute drive to Whaler’s Village, Kapalua and Lahaina for more upscale dining. The beach and pool are a little on the smaller side at this property but the location and views more than made up for that. Easy free parking on site and great amenities included in the unit if you need beach or snorkeling gear. Overall we had a fantastic stay.”

“Unfortunately, the pictures on the listing were a bit misleading. We were a little disappointed that the “waterfront” was not accurate. The backyard was a steep hill with trees and very dangerous. I am so glad my daughter decided not to bring my 2 year old grandson at the last minute. We ended up going to beavers bend state park so the everyone could have access to water. The Internet was an issue as well. The listing also states kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans. We had to go to dollar general to buy some larger pans as we had 12 people in the house, lots of food to make at one time. The pots and pans were suitable for maybe 2-4 people. I would have taken my pots and pans had I known vs purchasing some there. The kayaks are not on the property. You have to drive to access them. The firewood that we purchased for $100 were a job to keep lit. We ran out of toilet paper on the 3rd day there. The house was far from the grocery store as well. However, the home itself was nice.”

“The property is absolutely stunning! We had a problem with the fact that the shower didn’t work all the way and it didn’t have cold water. Also, the Jacuzzi jets were broken, so I couldn’t take a bath with it. That was disappointing after not being able to take a nice shower. Lastly, we needed the pullout bed from the couch in the study, but it was broken, so we had to go to a Walmart 40 minutes away to buy an air mattress. All in all, I’m so happy that my family had the memories they had! I just wish everything worked.”

“Slow to respond host, overall a good place to stay! A little further north of hochatown than expected. I will watch out for location more closely on my next visit!”

“Overall it was a nice cabin & hosts were responsive but there were some small issues. We arrived at 4 for checkin we couldn’t get in with the code provided. They let us know there was a key in the lock box & provided that code but there ended up not being a key in it. We realized a side door was unlocked so we entered through there & a team member showed up an hour later to fix the lock. The cabin bathroom showers were not very clean. Hard water was so bad & the showers were orange & smelled from that, along with the toilet bowls. The hot tub was great the first night but the 2nd night it turned green. The AC upstairs was not up to par. It was set on 70 & it was 86 up there. We couldn’t get the wifi to work the first night & finally I texted the host the second day & they resolved that issue. The patio furniture was disgusting, nobody wanted to sit on it. Many screens to the windows were off & outside gutters were full. Some ceilings fans didnt work. Small issues but matters.”

“The condo was beautiful. Fantastic views of the ocean. Upscale furnishings. Wonderful neighborhood. However the host was less than helpful. We had concerns about getting to the location as just 2days prior to our arrival the news indicated that the town should be avoided. I made repeated attempts with the host to get updates on road conditions. I mostly received form letter responses indicating how I can check in. When she actually responded in person I still did not get information on road conditions. I also left a swimsuit in the dryer and had little response to those messages either other than they wanted 75 dollars to mail it to me (I was able to pick it up eventually). I would rather deal with a helpful and personable host than with realty company rep.”
