“Wonderful stay to see different parts of Pagosa Springs! The yard was so helpful with the dog and we loved using the grill and hot tub! Would highly recommend!”airbnb

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this home for anyone traveling with dogs! The very large privacy-fenced yard was great for our two. Nice shady deck for morning breakfast outside. Well-stocked kitchen for cooking needs. Great labeling on cabinet doors to easily locate items. The location was great for us as it’s just a short drive to many great hiking trails, a short walk to coffee shops, and access to trails/paths around the lakes.”airbnb

“Perfect for cooking. They had everything you could possibly need - cheese grater, strainer, pots and pans, even a crock pot! We had a WONDERFUL stay.”airbnb

“This Townhome was truly awesome! Wonderf Location! The deck is where we spent most of our time. It has beautiful views of the mountains! The home was spotless! Kitchen had anything you needed. Beds & pillows were extremely comfortable. We used the shower near the kitchen because I took the first shower in that one and the water pressure was amazing! What I despise, is that check in is 4, and check out is 10. That's some disrespect! It's already a bummer when you can't get in until 4 and have a normal check out of 11am, but they make you leave even an hour earlier, even though they have a one hour later check in at 4pm.....They offer flexibility.... for a charge, which also bugs when they have shortened hours compared to a standard AIRBNB with check in at 3 and out at 10, or in at 4 and out at 11.... Other than that Wack policy the home itself plus all things they provide were awesome.”airbnb

“The place was just like the pictures. The backyard was wonderful for the dogs. Just for info master bed was soft. Nice to have garage access for vehicle. Close to everything. There is construction in downtown Pagosa Springs on the road makes downtown very miserable right now. We did run into an issue with communicating for an hr early checkin. We messaged on site and through text 24 hours in advance. We kept asking for a reply and kept getting we are waiting for our team to respond. We got a text message, literally 5 minutes before requested early checkin with a payment site.”airbnb

“Expect a “management company” OK experience. Place was OK for what we paid - pictures definitely had brightness all the way turned up, because place much darker than expected. Minimal cookware (pans), so expect to make one dish at a time. Beds were very soft and therefore uncomfortable. Parts of the place are aged and just falling apart. Smells in the master bathroom indicate they need their septic or sewage looked at. Blackout shades aren’t on all windows in bedrooms, which make it challenging to keep the light from coming in. Mostly, the fact that all of this info was shared with them via multiple outlets but nothing was done and response was “I’ll let them know” and then generic text messages would come in about checkout. Wouldn’t stay here again. Loved that it was walkable to National Forest though! Plenty of Airbnbs in the area for that though. We have stayed in Pagosa 4 times now in the last couple months and this was the wordy Airbnb. Feel bad for owners with this mgmt company.”airbnb

“This place has nice features about it. In general, the counter tops are nice, there are different unique kitchen appliances in the pantry, there’s nice decorations, etc. that being said, there are more spiders in this place than you can count. In the morning, you will wake up and walk into the hallway to find you just walked through a cob web. Three times I had spiders crawling on me while sitting on the couch. I never got bit and they mostly keep to themselves in corners but if they type of thing freaks you out then reconsider staying here. Additionally, it was very clear they only cleaned the major walk ways so before I moved in I had to sweep up other areas. I am not someone who typically would do that but I am so glad I did because I found a red pill under the couch that probably would have killed a pet if they got to it. Lastly, dryer is broken and they sent someone to fix it but it didn’t resolve the issue which was annoying because it would only run 10 minutes at a time.”airbnb

“Our trip to Pagosa Springs was amazing!! We loved the home and had a great stay overall. If I could give 4.5 stars instead of 4, I would. The reason for 4 stars is that the property is clearly company-managed vs personally. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs & this was the first time we were asked to pay an additional fee for one hour of an early check-in. 4pm check-ins/ 10am check-outs feel much more time-crunched than a 3pm/11am window. Also, with the snow melting, the yard was very muddy for our dogs, and there wasn’t a doormat or anything by the door to help manage the mess. Just a small addition that would make a difference. Overall, it’s a beautiful home in a great location, lots of trails near by & quick trip into town.”airbnb

“Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The property itself was comfortable and very dog-friendly — we especially appreciated the dog door, which made things so much easier for us and our pup. The space felt accommodating for pets, which was a big plus. One downside for us was that this Airbnb is managed through a rental company rather than a direct host. I personally prefer having direct communication with an owner, as it feels more personal and responsive. Communication was slower. We couldn’t not make it the first day due to a storm, no offered refund. When we arrived, the sheets had human hair on them, which was disappointing. However, the rental company did respond and sent someone the next day to change them, which we appreciated. We were there during heavy snow, and no snow shovel was provided. They did send someone to plow, but it wasn’t until around 6 PM the following day, which made getting around a bit challenging. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you.”airbnb

“We couldn't find the house using Apple Maps. When we texted the host, we got an automated response from a chat bot just giving us the address again. When we found the place and got in, the internet/wifi was down. I called the host and reached a call center agent who knew nothing. When we texted, we again got a chat bot response regurgitating the wifi credential. The bot suggested we reboot the router, but when I asked where to find it, the response was "I just want to double check with our team to make sure I have the the accurate info for you." We were frustrated and ended up leaving a day early.”airbnb
