Silver Dunes Condominium's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Our stay at Silver Dunes Unit B1401, was fantastic. The unit was exactly as described and the pictures were true to the reality. As others have mentioned, the washer is very loud! Definitely do not hesitate to book!”airbnb

“Location was great. Close enough to the beach to carry a few things, without too long of a walk. Pool was nice. Security gate and door code worked fine. Laundromat could use upgrades. 3 of 6 washers were out of order and were old and rusted up. But everything else about the property was great. Charcoal grills on site. Unit was clean and the kitchen was FULLY equipped, which was a huge plus. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.”airbnb

“Very nice place to stay for the week… private beach access was great and beaches weren’t crowded.”airbnb

“We really liked the unit we stayed in. It was clean, super comfortable, and plenty of space for our family. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and also having a pool available for those times we didn’t want the grit and salt. It took me a while to figure out how to “rent” chairs and an umbrella for the beach, but once I figured it out, we took advantage of that opportunity. The beach was by far our favorite spot. If we come back to the Destin area, we’d definitely look into using Silver Dunes and the same unit.”airbnb

“This place was great and perfect for our needs. Short walk to the awesome beach. I like the community items section they have of people who have donated. We forgot beach toys and someone had donated some and my kids happily borrowed them. Pool was nice and clean always, quiet and peaceful. Beds are comfortable and kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed it very much.definitely recommend. This condo is right by the pool.”airbnb

“We had a good overall stay at Silver Dunes! The highlights of the property were definitely the views and the amenities. You get an amazing view of the water right through the courtyard, and the grounds are well-maintained. We loved that they had shuffleboard, pickleball, and basketball courts with free equipment to borrow, which kept everyone entertained. A few minor things to note for future guests and for the host to improve: Kitchen: Dish soap isn't provided (only dishwasher powder). Several dishes in the cabinets had leftover food particles, likely from previous guests not washing them well enough. Check-in / Laundry: Upon arrival, the bulk of the bath towels were still sitting in the washing machine, so we had to dry and fold them ourselves before settling in. Condo Condition: The condo itself feels a bit dated and could use a few minor maintenance touch-ups. Also, bring your own TP! The provided 2-ply is disappointing.”airbnb

“Terrible vacation and stay! Harassed by security and not friendly. Will not be back!”airbnb

“The condo is cute and big enough for the family of 4. The absence of salt and paper in the kitchen was annoying. After a very long drive to get there, no one want to go out for dinner so I wanted to make noodles for the kids, and couldn’t do that because there was no salt in the house. That was annoying but not a deal breaker. Want to check out the beach, couldn’t because beach towels were also not provided. That should be noted in capital letters in the listing, so people know to bring towels. We take two beach vacations a year and use Airbnb, and it’s the first time that towels weren’t provided. What upset me the most was how uncomfortable master bedroom bed was. It was like sleeping in the hammock. Completely no support. Very old worn out mattress. After a week of sleeping on it, a chiropractor visit and massage visit is already scheduled. For reference we are not big people. I’m 5’5’’140lbs, my husband is 6’1’’ 185lbs. Every day I was waking up with back pain. Besides that our st”airbnb
