“We loved the cabin itself and the location was very convenient to a lot of restaurants and markets! Just some minor improvements we would’ve loved to see for a full 5 stars review. We also had a power cut the first night here but the hosts had detailed instructions for such a situation and backup generator and some torches, etc. But for the most part, lovely stay and a pretty well equipped home otherwise!”

“Clean, well-appointed house. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Easy access to Bear Valley. Highly recommend, as long kids are old enough to climb the ladder to the loft and don't need curtains, as the loft is open to the entry area and has a lot of natural light. Great house!”

“Our stay was somewhat unconventional - we arrived during a major winter storm that delivered around 4 feet of snow and kept us without power for the duration of our stay. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our downtime in this home. In case you're ever snowed in, the driveway made for excellent sledding for the kids. The wood burning fireplace kept the surrounding area nice and warm and the place was stocked with ample firewood. There's also a backup generator with detailed instructions that made it possible for us to shower and wash dishes for brief periods. We really loved our stay despite the non-intentional off-grid experience and my kids want to return for a summertime adventure sometime soon. Our host did their best to communicate with us and keep us informed.”

“Great place and location. We were there for the big storm of Feb. 2026 and the cabin was well equipped for a power outage. Plow service does a great job of snow removal.”
