“The place was very clean and cute. The decor was simple and nice. It was great to have separate sleeping places for four people. The bathroom and kitchen were clean. Our complaint was that upon arrival at 7pm, we could not get the lock to work. We got no response from Whitney or anyone else through the air bnb app or the emergency number for forty minutes. It was very hot outside! When Whitney responded, she tried to reset code, but it didn’t work. She made us feel like we didn’t know how to use a lock. Finally, she called maintenance, which we had to wait for and who had to break in. We waited over 90 min. He told us to leave a door unlocked if we left! Got locked out again the next morning. Later we discovered that the router was unplugged, which is what caused the issue. Maintenance person never checked that. Frustrated by support of this issue that we solved ourselves. She gave us a little money back, but for the high cost, we expected better service.”

“Overall, this day was pretty decent. We did notice some noticeable messes when we walked in. There was a lot of dirt everywhere, the bathrooms were not very clean, and one of the sinks in the bathroom did not work. We noticed that it was very hard to open the patio door. We had issues with the kids feet, turning almost black due to lack of mopping.”

“Beautiful home and really good location, definitely would book again , messaged host about a question for the pool and never got an answer back but other than that everything was perfect”

“The condo had a beautiful view but one of the air conditioners was broke so was hard for the main one to keep up and it was very warm in there. The patio was infested with bugs so we couldn’t enjoy the deck. It also advertised an umbrella for the patio but it wasn’t there when we arrived, when asked about it said it blew away in storm but we didn’t know that prior to arriving or booking. The bathroom has the ceiling peeling away and it was overall very dusty. When reaching out to the host for help or concerns she was very slow to respond to offer assistance. Again great view but overall not a pleasant stay in the condo.”

“I gave Whitney six hours to respond before posting this. The home itself was nice. The view from the dock and deck was nice. The company that provided the boat was exceptional, and the boat was exceptional. It was very comfortable for six adults, and they dropped it off to our dock, which was convenient. The lack of kitchen supplies were a problem, as basic items that I would think an Airbnb would have were lacking, pizza cutter, toaster, measuring utensils, casserole dishes, wine glasses. The trash from the people before us was never picked up and became a problem as raccoons got into the trash, there were not enough bath towels for six adults or washcloths, the biggest problem was the hot water as my husband was the only person for a stay of three nights of six people that had a hot shower, which caused extreme aggravation. We had to cancel dinner reservations and eat left overs because no one could clean up after a day on the water. This made for a very unpleasant stay.”

“House was very dusty, when we arrived. Outside needed maintenance, outside needs attention. Spider webs and general just cleaning. Lake front was very messy, I know about the things floating objects get brought in. This lake front was a mess. Not applicable to the price you are charging. Needs lots of work…”

“Lied about the most significant amenities. Filthy accommodations. Hasn’t been kept up or even cleaned in what appeared like years. I kept photos for reference and can provide. Smelled musty and could see mold on AC units which didn’t work right. Stated she had never had complaints and reviews proved that a lie also. Took zero accountability without filing with air bnb and even then, did very little. We were land locked for 5 days at LOTO because of false advertisement and the property was disgusting. Our kids couldn’t even play on the floors they were so gross. She argued she could send a cleaning crew in on our paid for time with immunocompromised children. The cleaning that needed done would’ve taken days. We couldn’t find another rental to accommodate 14 people last minute so we were stuck. Would never recommend her or her company.”

“Loved this place, has a great view of the lake! Screened in porch is nice to watch the boats. The unit was clean & updated. Had 1 problem the last afternoon & evening. A/C was not cooling the place. It was 100 degrees outside it was 82/83 degrees inside. Very uncomfortable to say the least. I let Whitney know, she told us to turn the ceiling fans on high and wasn't concerned. My husband checked the air filter & it was filthy. There was an extra filter & he changed it. Left & went to dinner to go somewhere with a/c. Came back, still very warm inside. I let her know! It took all night for the temp to come down some. Miserable & uncomfortable sleeping! The amt. of money we paid for this place, we expect to have a comfy stay! Whitney has control over the a/c unit. Let her know we were leaving & she said she would set the a/c at 75. I can see putting a cap on the temps with a/c but I would also think you want happy, comfortable, return guests. I wanted to give a 5 star but couldn't do it!”

“Beautiful and spacious home. The only downsides were the main pool was closed which was not stated when I booked it and there were no rags in the kitchen or bathroom. Otherwise the location and home itself were great!”

“Air BNB said this condo was a rare find when I booked it. More like it's a rare spot without ants. Ants everywhere even in the bed with you! Not enough blankets/sheets for the pull out couch, which I went & spent money reserved for activities with my kids so they could be comfortable while sleeping. The downstairs balcony had a broken chair & table, so honestly couldnt really use it. I let Whitney know all this, she said she would contact maintenance & an apology. 4 ant traps, spray that kills on contact & a very weak table was left on the porch, no knock. A cleaner came with new bedding & pillows & entered the condo. She placed traps under the beds & in the kitchen, sprayed a wall that was bad. The smell was absolutely horrible, couldnt open a window, no screens & wasps. Dryer went out & smelled burned & a bedroom light popped & didnt turn back on. Told Whitney, she contacted maintenance & apology. brought up to Whitney a partial refund & was completely ignore! DO NOT RECOMMEND!”
