“We were disappointed. The downstairs ceiling fan was leaking, Lights on second floor continued to go out throughout our stay. They responded for the first incident. But the second time there was no help. It’s super frustrating and inconvenient to be without lights in half of the house. The lawn needed attention. The pool was nice but the chairs were filthy. Short distance from the beach(great). Outside of feeling like we should be reimbursed something for the inconvenience, my family enjoyed the area itself. If I’m being honest I probably wouldn’t rent again unless there was some type of accommodations for our experience.”

“We arrived after 4pm and could not get in due to the cleaners being there. We were never notified by the host that we couldn’t check in on time. There wasn’t remotes in each room, lights didn’t work in one of the rooms, all outdoor lights did not work, we arrived to an empty propane tank. It took so long for the host to reply about the propane tank that we just ended up going to get one ourselves. Communication was not great. We enjoyed our time and the house was nice. Just got off to a rocky start and then communication was slow”

“Parking was confusing. Condo door was ajar and place was dirty when we checked in. Smelled strong like heavy cleaners. Portable fan was full of dust with a bandaid wrapped around a missing knob. Tried to text and call owner with no response. I noticed mold growing on a clock in the living room and A/C closet had mold growing in it as well. Stains on furniture. Light fixtures not properly installed. One stove burner didn't fit at all and wasn't even attached. Notified owner through Airbnb app to contact us ASAP. Didn't receive a response from the owner until I contacted Airbnb directly, but only through the app. Only offered to send a cleaner or give us supplies. Never got a resolution for five hours but couldn't afford to stay somewhere else. Unfortunately, we stayed the night but never got to enjoy the resort or our room because dealing with messaging about issues and mold. Overnight, we noticed the air conditioner didn't work well. Set at 73 but room temp 76-78.”

“Honestly, the design of the house is beautiful, but there were several disappointing issues. First, the house looks much bigger and more spacious in the photos than it actually is. Second, there was no outdoor dining table. It was my birthday during our stay, and the owner even told us that if there wasn’t a table, he would have one delivered. Unfortunately, it never arrived, so we couldn’t have the birthday dinner outside as we had planned. There is also a BBQ grill, but it had no gas. For the price we paid, I believe basic amenities like this should be provided. Another issue was the back door. The security system constantly announced “Back door open” even though the door was completely closed, which became very annoying. The king bedroom upstairs doesn’t have a closet, so be prepared to keep your clothes in your suitcases or on the floor. In the bedroom with the queen bed, the ceiling fan didn’t work, and neither did the light. Overall, I’m very disappointed that I spent so muc”

“Trashcan was filled and place outside of trashcan, leaving us with no where to store trash. Trash was left in dresser and clothing from previous guest. Neighbor told us to contact owner in regard to trash. I messaged them with pictures and nothing was done.”

“Good location, host was unresponsive on check in day, place could’ve been cleaner but overall decent stay.”

“Good place to stay but cleaners did not clean unit right had hair in tub ,stains on beds was told they was gomma come fix issues never heard from them”

“Elevator could use a fan Stairwell could use a good cleaning AC iced over when thermostat set at 70 Fan in living room didn’t work Master tub drains SLOWLY Pool patio is HOT”

“Does not mention the day parking pass you have to buy plus the passes you have to buy for each person with you. Also advertised renting golf carts but property won’t even let you ride them on site at all not. Tried to fine 200.”

“We normally stay at Ocean Reef but a different condo. That one is no longer a rental. Therefore we ended up in this one. From the time we checked in there were several little issues. Front bathroom toilet was not working. Tried contacting management but didn’t receive a return call for at least 34 hrs. Management sent someone to fix it but it ran the whole time. My son had to come fix it. One bed in front bedroom was broken. My son fixed it as well. Main bedroom had the hardest bed. I don’t expect a cush bed but this one was not comfortable at all. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom clicked and made noises. Too hot to turn it off so just had to listen to it. Plus, you had to stand on the bed to turn the light off in order to leave the fan running. Not the safest thing to do. Kitchen could use some upgraded scissors and a nonstick skillet. It’s bad when greasy bacon sticks to the skillet. I normally go with the flow but there were too many little things making it not a pleasant stay.”
