“We had a short 2 night and 1 day stay. The place was perfect for our family of 4. It had lots of amenities like kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and beach equipment for use. The beach equipment was great because we are coming from out of town. The hosts was very responsive to all our questions and very hospitality to all our needs like a late check out. Overall I would give them an all around 10/10.”

“This is a charming little beach cottage. It was very well supplied with essentials. We loved the easy access to the beach and wish we would've had more time. The outdoor showers and extra beach supplies was great. Jen was helpful with a few questions we had about the area and check in and out was very well explained..our stay here was so enjoyable. Definitely a five star rating.”

“So much more than expected! Every little detail was provided which was extremely nice since we traveled by air from Ohio! The property was very clean and included so many amenities…..several bikes, kayaks, life jackets, beach cart/chairs, outdoor seating was awesome, gas grills, fire pits. The inside had everything we needed to stay the extended weekend! Beach was in easy walking distance for our toddler and Walmart/Publix within 15 minutes. Very quiet part of the island with minimal traffic and without golf carts everywhere. The beach was not crowded even during peak hours! Our family of four found 631 sharks teeth in 2 days! Oh and the sunsets were breathtaking. Both Jen and Eddie were extremely responsive and helpful! They truly thought of everything! We will definitely be back!”

“We loved the house and the beach. It had practically everything needed for the beach and the kitchen. I loved the welcome: there were beers and water in the fridge, as well as wine and treats. The beach is very close to the house—within walking distance—and my children had fun looking for shark teeth. The hosts were very kind and attentive.”

“Jen’s Laughing Gull cottage was hands down the best rental we have stayed in! From the first moment in the door to the morning we left, everything was perfect. All the “extras” like the beer in the fridge and wine and snacks ready for us on the table were an awesome surprise. Just a short walk from the beach made it so easy for our family to come and go all day long. We found dozens of shark teeth including one almost an inch long - check the guest book for its actual size! Overall, the Laughing Gull was a perfect weekend getaway for our family and we will definitely be back! Thanks Jen!”

“Amazing place to stay with a super flexible host. The amount of amenities provided by Jen are incredible and we will be back. You can bring Grover’s and spend an entire week kayaking, shark tooth hunting, beaching it up, biking or just hanging out at the well designed property. The beach items provided make it where coming from out of town is super easy because the chairs, umbrella, beach cart etc are all covered.”

“Amazing place for my family to stay for the fourth . Great location away from public parking lots on beach . Makes beach not crowded and enjoyable. Sunset were amazing. Jen was very responsive on any requests we needed . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone . Will be back for sure .”

“Everything was great! We had a great few days at the beach cottage. It was clean and well stocked with amenities as well as thoughtful extras like snacks and even some welcoming drinks! Having all the beach gear definitely helped us out as well. Great place and a great time! 5 stars for sure”

“We’ve stayed in homes all over the world and this is the top of the list for the care taken to make sure the guests are welcome and taken care of! From a welcome basket of goodies, a stocked fridge with drinks, and every beach accessory a family could need, we were blown away! The location is fantastic, walking distance to the beach and great restaurants nearby. The home is extremely clean and welcoming and the photos don’t do the whole compound justice, the amenities are new and well taken care of We spent our days looking for shark teeth and left with ~1,400! We made such sweet memories with our boys this week and can’t wait to come back to this special beach gem in the future. We were lucky enough to meet the hosts on a walk to see the sunset and they both were just as kind in person as they were in the communications leading up to the stay.
