Shore Resorts's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Don't book here. The listing looked good online, but the property was filthy and uncomfortable. We found ants throughout the unit—including in the refrigerator—which is a health hazard. The bed was genuinely uncomfortable; didn't look anything like the photos. The neighborhood is dominated by party rentals filled with college groups, which meant constant noise. The beach nearby has a deer fly problem in summer season, so don't expect a peaceful beach day. The host refused our refund request without explanation, despite these issues. If you're looking for a genuine beach getaway, go to Cape May instead. This place was a waste of money”airbnb

“10 minute walk to mall, 15 minutes to beach. No BBQ which we were told would be made available”airbnb

“I love the apartment it was cute and cozy and located in a really great area. We were able to walk to restaurants, the grocery store, and the boardwalk. My only issue was that the apartment was dusty, and the window blinds were broken. I think they just need a better cleaning service other then that the apartment is perfect for families.”airbnb

“me and my girlfriend stayed for a night, the place and everything was exactly like the post said it would be no complaints on that end, we had asked for an 11 am checkout and they agreed but at around 930 am me and my girlfriend were woken up to the door opening, I yelled and whoever it was realized they weren’t supposed to be going in there yet and closed the door thankfully before ever seeing us. Overall good place good spot just the early unannounced entrance was a little off putting.”airbnb

“Def not worth the money. Kitchen totally ill- equipped without basic kitchen items (no can opener, strainer, no kitchen storage no closets… Dirty dishes. No early checkin but no guests and had to wait until after 4 to check in. Bed was terrible. Not high end linens. Non-disclosed video in backyard.”airbnb

“The hosts were not only late to respond to my messages they weren’t very accommodating to my requests to change the date based on a booking mistake through the app. I realized the mistake 3-4 days before check in and asked for a partial refund and they declined. I asked to move the date to the following month and was declined. We were force to use it on a day that didn’t work for us or lose our money. They offered no explanations to why I couldn’t adjust the date that the air bnb app allowed me to use. And after our experience staying at the place knowing it was a studio apartment it definitely wasn’t worth the price they charged per night. I get it the location to the boardwalk was unbeatable but for the size of the place it was just way over priced. You can stay at a local hotel with a pool for the same price. I was deeply disappointed in the hosts for not working with me and not willing to accommodate my requests. On a positive note the place seemed clean.”airbnb

“Before the booking i specifically asked how far a walk to the dog park and beach was, i was told it was literally right behind the property. It was actually a 25 min walk by gps that our elderly dog was unable to do. The AC unit was not working properly, at the highest it was 85 and the lowest it got to was 72 degrees. Not exactly the most comfortable to sleep in with no fans circulating the air. We were told that we needed to consider the temperature outside which has never been an issue in the 20 years we have spent in Wildwood with other places and their AC units. There were people staying above us who were loud and banging all night keeping us awake as well as cooking bacon at 6 am that was such a strong smell in our place it woke us all up. We left a day early because of a scheduled event we couldn’t change which is fine that is on us but we had to pay about 2k for 45 hours of use in what I am going to refer to as a “ghetto.” With no refund of any sort. Never again would I stay!”airbnb

“Nice but small. Toilet in bedrooms weren’t secured. Parking was terrible. When you want to go to beach you had to inconvenience someone else staying there. Porch was so tiny I had to move to get someone by me. It was blocked by a cheap and broken white fence. The deck underneath wasn’t cleaned for years on outside. flies everywhere!. The walkway going into house was horrific for my 81 year old mother. Stones were terrible. As the video shows on all outside cameras I Kim had to put her scooter back on stones. Not a place for older people. My overall rating was a 2. Sorry. You can leave this out of the showing for others. I know I left the place clean and in perfect shape when we left. Can’t complain about our end. You said about off street parking but it’s not free out front which I’m not like you RICH to pay for. So we parked for 2 nights on New Jersey Avenue. Long walk for old folks. I won’t be coming back . I hope the truth helps you! I could easily tell people about stay”airbnb

“Let me start with what we walked into as we set things down in kitchen, a whole piece of poo on the floor! I then start looking around and I see nothing but stains and fluids that aren’t from me or my fam as we just walked in! Stains on the walls, the chairs, the appliances, the floors! I get out my toddlers wipe pack to clean up hair and dirt and debris that are on the floor! I am constantly having to tell my kids not to touch anything, their feet had to be wiped off as the dirt from the apartment floor got all over them. Very upset we walked the boardwalk for hours until George got someone to actually clean! I was told before check in it was cleaned and made a priority! Does any of that sound true based on what I walked into?! Even after they did clean I never felt like I could be comfortable and with a toddler who touches everything all I did was follow her saying please don’t touch there. So if you like staying in another’s filth stay here! George deep clean your house it’s gross!”airbnb

“We were disappointed with our one-night stay. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable musty odor throughout the apartment, and we found visible mold-like growth/spores in all three of the wall-mounted AC units. We also had some cleanliness concerns, and the bath towels were very worn and discolored. The host was initially responsive to our questions and indicated that maintenance would come by to address our concerns, but no one ever arrived. After following up and providing feedback about our experience, we did not feel that our concerns were adequately addressed. The apartment itself has a lot of charm and could be a lovely place to stay with more thorough cleaning and maintenance. However, we found it less suitable for families with very young children, as there are several loose carpets that slide easily, and, as might be expected in an older Victorian home, the floors are quite uneven and tilted in places. We really wanted to enjoy our stay because of the location and the opportun”airbnb
