“Incredible house, incredible hosts. Three levels with a ton of thoughtful space — a private-entrance apartment downstairs with its own full kitchen, a main floor built around a huge open kitchen and living area with an island everyone naturally gathers around, and three bedrooms plus two en suites and a loft upstairs. Immaculate throughout, clearly well-built, and stocked with everything you actually need. You’re steps from the lake in a quiet community, which made the whole trip feel easy. The hosts were the difference-maker: responsive early in the morning and late at night, genuinely helpful, and quick to smooth out every small detail. One of the best stays we’ve had. Highly recommend.”

“If you’re looking for a private and secluded place to stay, this is it! Absolutely no one around or near the property besides the river, trees, and a view. This place is perfect for a family vacation or a vacation with friends. The train didn’t bother my group, but I can see how it may be disturbing to others. The gravel roads leading to the property may seem sketchy, but they were a nonissue. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly consider coming back again! Lori and David were excellent hosts.”

“Our stay at this Airbnb in Shasta Lake Retreat #19 was wonderful. The view of this house is absolutely spectacular and was one of the highlights of our trip. The home was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. “Gorgeous view! Wonderfully private location. House was clean and nice and all ready when we arrived! We could walk to the water and fish off the shore. A bit of a steep path going back up, but it isn’t very far. The house is well kept! There is another unit on the property with 2 more beds, if needed. Teenagers loved that! The train comes by randomly and is super fun! We put coins on the tracks with the kids! Really enjoyed our time there and will definitely come back!!!”

“Perfect lakeside getaway for our family gathering! We recently rented this beautiful vacation home for a one-week family get-together, and everyone enjoyed our visit. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable, both indoors and out. Our absolute favorite feature was the beautiful deck overlooking the lake—it was the perfect spot for morning coffee, evening dinners, and game playing with incredible views. Being right on the water was amazing, and having convenient use of the paddleboards, kayaks, and floats included with the rental made it easy for everyone to get out and enjoy the lake. A bonus was that the wildlife kept us entertained! There was plenty of parking for multiple families arriving separately, and the location offered easy access to Redding for quick day trips and grocery runs. To top it all off, Lori was wonderfully responsive and helpful from booking through check-out.”
