“We were unable to stay because the smell was so strong that it made our eyes water. It was a perfumy smell, perhaps from cleaning products. The host provided a fan to help air out the place, but after an hour of running this fan, opening all the operable windows, and running the air conditioner, we determined we could not stay. In addition, the sheets on the bed were covered in hairs, whether human or pet, we could not determine. We requested a refund, which was refused by the host, but promised by Airbnb.”
